You are a good peaditrician. Thanks. Im in the UK and have been given a ent apppintment where they will assess my son to see the best treatment for him.. he has had reoccurant tonsillitus and will do a tonsillectomy

Thank you for effort 👌 I really appreciate this informative video. For us parents is much better when we understand what's going with our kids, as that is only way we can help them. Just found my 8 year old son has enlarged adenoids, and after this video we are planning soon to remove it. Why- as I start to se his behaviour change (due to poor sleep) plus doctor were persistent it's allergy only and feeding him with medicines... and there are always side effects from this type of medicines... X ray done on my strict request, and I am so glad we did it. Wish us luck 🙏 Thank you, and also, the boy did excellent 👏 And his parents consent was a great thing 👍

Beautifully explained . One thing I want to add possibly x ray position is not correct thats why the position of adenoids you showed seems to oropharynx . I think x ray protocol for soft tissue neck/ nasopharynx not followed properly.

When Nirgundiadi Keram was used as prescribed by an Ayurvedic doctor, the adenoid infection resolved within ten days. An enlarged adenoid is caused by an adenoid infection. Adenoid shrinkage occurred without surgery when using this oil. I used ETM Oushadasla's Nirgundiadi Keram. This medicine is used for children and adults. Regular use reduces the risk of relapse. If Nirgundayadi Keram is rubbed on the head for fifteen minutes, it is experienced that the adenoid infection is gone. Shortness of breath, cold, snoring, breathing through the mouth during sleep, sneezing, phlegm, tonsillitis, ear pain, migraine, sinusitis, eye pain, dryness of the eyes, headache, knee pain etc. While applying the oil on the head for ear pain, it can also be applied in excess of the ear. Applying Keram on the head to the face and ears reduces almost all diseases related to ENT & Eye and cures many diseases. നിർഗുണ്ടിയാദി കേരം ആയുർവേദ ഡോക്ടർ നിർദേശിച്ചതനുസരിച്ച് ഉപയോഗിച്ചപ്പോൾ അഡിനോയ് ഇൻഫെക്ഷൻ പത്തു ദിവസം കൊണ്ട് മാറി. അഡിനോയിഡ് ഇൻഫെക്ഷൻ മൂലമാണ് അഡിനോയിഡ് വലുതാകുന്നത്. ഈ മരുന്ന് ഉപയോഗിച്ചപ്പോൾ അഡിനോയിഡ് ഓപ്പറേഷൻ കൂടാതെ തന്നെ ചുരുങ്ങുകയാണ് ഉണ്ടായത്. ETM Oushadasla യുടെ നിർഗുണ്ടിയാദി കേരം ആണ് ഞാൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്. കുട്ടികൾക്കും വലിയവർക്കും ഈ മരുന്നാണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. സ്ഥിരമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചാൽ വീണ്ടും രോഗം വരാനുള്ള സാധ്യത കുറവാണ്. നിർഗുണ്ടിയാദി (Nirgundayadi Keram ) തലയിൽ പതിഞ്ചു മിനിട്ടു തേച്ചുകുളിച്ചാൽ അഡിനോയിഡ് ഇൻഫെക്ഷൻ മാറി ശ്വാസതടസ്സം, ജലദോഷം, അലർജി , ഉറക്കക്കുറവ് , കൂർക്കംവലി, വായിലൂടെ ഉറക്കത്തിൽ ശ്വാസം എടുക്കുക, തുമ്മൽ, കഫകെട്ട്, ടോൺസിലൈറ്റിസ്, ചെവി വേദന, മൈഗ്രൈൻ, സൈനസൈറ്റിസ് , കണ്ണിന്റെ വേദന, കണ്ണിന്റെ dryness മാത്രമല്ല തലനീരിറക്കം മുട്ടുവേദന തുടങ്ങിയവയു൦ മാറുന്നതതായി അനുഭവമുണ്ട്. ചെവി വേദനയ്ക്ക് തലയിൽ എണ്ണതേയ്ക്കുമ്പോൾ ചെവിയിലും കൂടുതലായി പുരട്ടാവുന്നതാണ്. തലയിൽ തേയ്ക്കുന്ന കേരം മുഖത്തും ചെവികളിലും പുരട്ടിയാൽ ENT & Eye സംബദ്ധമായ ഏതാണ്ട് എല്ലാ രോഗങ്ങളും കുറയുന്നതായും നിരവധി രോഗങ്ങൾ മാറുന്നതായും കാണുന്നു.

I was diagnosed with englared adenoids as a kid but bec of my birth defect and the surgeries i had to fix it they couldnt remove them i was born with a cleft lip and palate

AOA. What is the right age of adenoids & tonsils surgery? My son is 7 years old and he used to feel uncomfortable in thrive during night and got 6 to 7 attacks of tonsillitis per season. Now he is OK and tonsillitis attack 2 per season but most of the ENT says he is an adenoids patient & suggest surgery immediatialy and some ENT says there is no need of surgery at this stage. I need your valuable opinion, please.

What is an appropriate age for getting a consult done to have adenoids checked? I have a child who is 9 years old and appears to have the same symptoms. Your response will be much appreciated!

No age is absolutely indicated ... the childhood and even in adulthood ... whenever you suspect the symptoms you must take him to hospital.... it is the most common complain ...so when your child have some of the symptoms it is almost adenoids.

@@Maged-ot9sl my 6 yr old just had adenoid removal 25 days back... although he is not breathing through mouth but still snoring n feels obstructive when sleeps on his back ...sideways he has no problem in sleeping...his ent is also saying airway is clear...n he also makes stridor noise after physical exercise...may be due to his epiglottis placed little more posteriorly

My daughter had her tonsils and adenoids removed. She also has enlarged turbinates inside her nose. Would her turbinates need to be reduced? Will it reduce on its own? What causes turbinate hypertrophy? Why does this child have turbinate hypertrophy?

Terbinates get hypertropied due to nasal obstruction. Nasal obstruction occurs because of enlarged adenoids. Once adenoids are removed then hopefully terbinates will gradually shrink also. All the best Warm Regards

@@pakistanacademyofpediatric2378 to know for sure if adenoids were removed by the ENT surgeon, the snoring noisy breathing would stop? Also can enlarged tonsils cause hypertrophied turbinates? Or just enlarged adenoids? Is it possible that even if adenoids and tonsils are removed could the turbinate swelling still remain?
