Film is a commercial product. If you are really needed directors ll come to you. Super stars have nothing to do with it. I have talked to one of the director in malayalm industry and he was like, you can be activist but at same time if you are being activist anything and everything there is a huge probability that people won't consider you.

What I felt after watching the interview is that, obviously the interviewer is a gentle man who has pretty well tried to engage his audience... But I expected a few more questions about the movie and the process of being an Anjali Menon's character again...apart from being an activist or a person associated with WCC (whom she is), Parvathy Thiruvoth is also an artist...In this particular movie, she was associated with a lot of other female colleagues and she would have expected some questions on that side as well... After all she was there for the promotion of her new work...and no doubt she is an amazing speaker and she can take the talk to any extent...

എനിക്ക് പാർവതിയെ വളരെ ഇഷ്ടമാണ് പക്ഷെ അവര് ഭാഗമായ WCC എനിക്ക് ഒരു താല്പര്യവും തോന്നിയിട്ടില്ല. പലപ്പോഴും ഇവര് അതിൽ പെട്ടുപോയപോലെ തോന്നിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.ആ കളക്റ്റീവ് ചെയ്യുന്ന ഡബിൾ സ്റ്റാൻഡേർഡിന്റെ വിമർശനം കൂടി പാർവതിയുടെ തലയിൽ ആണ് വീഴുന്നത്. പണ്ട് കസബയുടെ പ്രശ്നത്തിൽ ഗീതു മോഹൻദാസ് ആണ് ഇവരെക്കൊണ്ട് സിനിമയുടെ പേര് കസബ എന്ന് പറയിച്ചത്. അതുപോലെ ഗീതു wccയെ യൂസ് ചെയ്ത് പടവെട്ട് സിനിമയെ തകർക്കാൻ നോക്കി എന്ന് അതിന്റെ ഡയറക്ടറും ഇന്നലെ ഒരു ലേഡിയും പോസ്റ്റ്‌ ഇട്ടിരുന്നു ഇതൊക്കെ പാർവതിയുടെ തലയിൽ ആണ് വീഴുന്നത്. റിമ കല്ലിങ്ങൽ, ഗീതു മോഹൻദാസ് പിന്നെ കൊറേ psuedo ഫെമിനിസ്റ്റുകൾ എന്തോ അജണ്ട പോലെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന പരിപാടിയായെ തോന്നിയിട്ടുള്ളൂ. ശ്രീനാഥ് ഭാസി ഈ ചാനലിലെ അവതാരികയെ അവരുടെ തൊഴിലിടത്തിൽ വെച്ച് വേർബൽ abuse ചെയ്തു അതിനെതിരെ ആ പെൺകുട്ടി FIR ഫയൽ ചെയ്തിട്ടുപോലും ഈ WCC ഒരു വ്യക്തിയോ പോസ്റ്റ്‌ ഇട്ടു കണ്ടില്ല അവസാനം ഭാസിയെ വിലക്കിയ വാർത്ത വന്നപ്പോ അത് ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യാനെന്നവണ്ണം ഇത് പരാമർശിച്ചു വെച്ചു. സത്യത്തിൽ ഇവരുടെ പ്രശ്നം നിലപാടുകളോ സമത്വമോ ശാസ്‌തീകരണമോ ഒന്നും അല്ല വ്യക്തികൾ ആണ്. എതിരെ വരുന്നത് സുഹൃത്തുക്കളോ വേണ്ടപ്പേട്ടവരോ ആണെങ്കിൽ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കുകയും അല്ലാത്തവരാണെങ്കിൽ വാളെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഇരട്ടതാപ്പ്. ലിജു കൃഷ്ണ, വിജയ് ബാബു കേസ് പോലെ ആരോപണം മാത്രം നോക്കി പോസ്റ്റ്‌ ഇടുന്ന ഇവര് തെറ്റ് ചെയ്തെന്നു സമ്മതിച്ചു പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്ത ഭാസിക്കേയത്തിരെ ഒന്നും പറയുന്നില്ല 🙏

WCC തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോ വളരെ പ്രതീക്ഷയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ അവർ വെറും സെലക്റ്റീവ് പ്രതികരണം മാത്രമാണ്. അലൻസിയർ, വിനായകൻ, കമൽ എന്നിവർക്കെതിരെ metoo allegation വന്നപ്പോൾ WCC ടെ വായിൽ പഴം ആയിരുന്നെന്നു തോന്നുന്നു 🙄. Basically, Ashiq abu and Rima kallingal ന്റെ friends സർക്കിൾ ൽ പെട്ടവരാണെങ്കിൽ no reaction. ഇപ്പൊ recently നടന്ന sreenath bhasi issue നോക്കിയാൽ മതി.

പാർവ്വതി ഇനിയെങ്കിലും പാർവ്വതിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെടുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി മാത്രം സംസാരിക്കുക. കൂടെ നിന്നവരൊക്കെ സ്വന്തം കാര്യം നോക്കി പോയപ്പോൾ പാർവ്വതിക്ക് നഷ്ടമായത് കാരിയറിലെ ഏറ്റവും നല്ല സമയത്ത് ചെയ്യേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന പല റോളുകളും കിട്ടാതെ ആയി കരിയർ തന്നെ ഇല്ലാതെ ആകുന്ന ഘട്ടത്തിലേക്ക് പോയി എന്നതാണ്. തുടക്കമിട്ടവരും കൂടെ ഉണ്ടാവും എന്നു കരുതിയവരും അവരുടെ കരിയർ ഭംഗി ആക്കുന്നതാണ് നമ്മൾ കണ്ടത്. (ആപത് ഘട്ടത്തിൽ കുറച്ച് പേർ കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നത് മറക്കുന്നില്ല) ഇനി എങ്കിലും കൈവിട്ടവരേയും സ്വന്തം കാര്യം നോക്കിയവരേയും ഒരൽപ്പം ദൂരെ നിർത്താൻ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക. നല്ല നല്ല വേഷങ്ങൾ വന്നു ചേരട്ടെയെന്നാശംസിക്കുന്നു.

Parvathy is an overrated actress🙄 choose ചെയ്യുന്ന റോളുകളുടെ കുഴപ്പം ആണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. എല്ലാ പടത്തിലും ഒരേ പോലെ. Same mannerism, dialogue delivery and expressions! Characters മാറ്റിപിടിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിൽ ആവർത്തന വിരസത ഉണ്ടാക്കും.!

I won't exactly say that. Her recent works are not up to the mark. But the following works speaks volume about her performance: 1) Notebook (Malayalam) 2) Poo (Tamil) 3) City of God 4) Maryan (Tamil) 5) Bangalore Days 6) Ennu Ninte Moideen 7) Charlie 8) Take Off (My personal favorite) 9) Qarib Qarib Singalle (Hindi) 10) Koode After Uyare I haven't seen her being part of a project where the actress in her is utilused. That is were she is recognized as an overrated actress.

I just luv how this interviewer analyses things. In Puzhu, If mammooty had played the oppressed role, may be the caste politics which that movie wanted to convey wld have been discussed more.. Now, all just focused on the acting caliber of him rather than what film wanted to convey i guess. i have heard people praising his acting more than what film wanted to convey.

If you kept mammoty in the other role, then there wud have been a change in story and then people shud have appreciated mammoty for his acting in that role. You can not ask mammoty to act less gracefully in a role for the other person/character to outshine. Film ia not made for a social discourse. Political discourse can be a sub product of the film.
