e' vero... ieri l'ho risentita ed ho pensato alla stessa cosa.....per me tocca qualcosa di fisico dentro di noi.... .per me Morricone si trasforma in chimica. Questa musica rende concrete le emozioni. Che meraviglia Morricone, perfortuna lo abbiamo avuto fino a suoi 90 anni e passa. e ci ha dato tanto

How relaxed this song sounds! Even when the singer runs out of breath it suits perfectly in the sunny, lazy atmosphere. And the melody then: same quite simple pattern over and over but with brilliant chord changes the result is like a changing melody line. Really, Ennio Morricone was a genius. He was one of a kind in music on this planet.

Don't forget Edda's contributions. What the maestro made the poor woman do in the studio.... Nonsense. She could tackle any partiture, no matter how crazy. She is God's gift to flmmusic! Kudos for her colleague Gianna Spagnolo too (she passed away a couple of years ago, unfortunately).

The theme "Metti una sera a cena" belongs to the movie same name, italian production from 1969. Ennio Morricone is the composser of this wonderful song. Edda Dell'Orso is the singer girl. The actress is Florinda Bolkan. This version is "uncut", in other words, others versions the final is not listened, they have a fade out effect. I think in this version we can hear much better the bass than others. Guitar is more clear also, I can notice too. Do I'm right on it? Cris Stgo./CL

This is the soundtrack of my Summer 2022, where I went back to my former city Reno after a decade and found it a virtual ghost town but the fond memories remained on my heart. At the end, very grateful I left to then find my own forever home in beautiful Kansas City.
