I’m from Colorado, but spend about 5 months each year in the area at the beginning of your video. It is THE place on Earth that makes me happy. Your video just reminds me of it. 80 days before I am back there. The bridge with all the boats is Lyons bridge. Every morning a flotilla of fishing boats head downstream with their clients hoping to hook into brown and rainbow trout. I often fish across from them from the bank.

Your footage around 6:00 with the drone is exactly where I was June 7-10 2022. That's not a "tournament" that's just Summer tourism. Just north up the road is Madison river Lodge, that was the best fish/Lodge I could EVER imagine.. Thank God for 60th birthday 🎂

Russ you should've taken the road to the right after Ennis and go to Virginia City, great scenery on the way to the historical city, plus Nevada City afterwards. Then on to Alder, Sheridan, and Twin Bridges. Beautiful scenery all the way. Then off to White Hall or to Butte and taken I-15 north to Helena. Enjoyed your trip. BTW I'm from Butte born and raised I know this area very well.

Hey. Russ. Just watched this. I noticed at the end you pull off at that bakery. I think there’s a RV park there also. We stayed there many years ago and did stop in that bakery. We where on a cross country trip to NC to visit family and of course yellow stone. Love your videos. We where in quartzite last winter. But missed you. Hot as ever here in Oregon take care. Hey Russ, nice looking video. A few years ago, I was in the same part of the country, headed up to Great Falls. However, I took 191 instead of 297 north from West Yellowstone. The scenery was straight out of the movie "A River Runs Through It." The most beautiful drive and scenery I've seen.

How are you experiencing traveling during the pandemic and not civil or non civil unrest? Gas stations or state/blm camping or businesses closed? I have a west coast to Midwest trip planned but now concerned that numerous things will be closed or activities would be hindered. A video showing the reality would be good. I have been to many of the locations you explore and all are amazing!
