I looked online and this is the definition: Moissanites are gifts from the stars. Originally discovered inside the crater of a meteorite, moissanite is a unique substance formed from silicon carbide. When comparing moissanites and diamonds, you'll find that they retain several of the same characteristics. They have a similar durability on the Moh's scale, come in a variety of colors, and to the untrained eye can pass for one another. Moissanites, however, display a unique rainbow scintillation that you can't find in diamonds. Loose moissanites are also much more affordable than their diamond counterparts, allowing dreams of a large center stone to more easily become reality.

Hope you are feeling better. Cancer is horrible. My grandfather has been gone since 2011, he had brain cancer, brain cancer is rarely beaten. He was a father figure too, as I didn’t have a dad growing up , so I understand missing a loved one.

HI! New subscriber & pearl/TEMU /Moissanite lover here! OMG! I loved watching this video; your personality is magnetic! You’re adorable (and you have great taste)! Just an FYI; I always loved pearls (they’re my birthstone) but really knew nothing about them until I worked in the fine jewelry area of a major department store. Here’s the scoop! First, TEMU’s pearl packaging is the BEST! You should always try to keep your pearls separate from other jewelry & keep them from rubbing against each other as they scratch very easily! Second, put all of your spray stuff (cologne, hair spray, etc.) on BEFORE you put your pearls on, because alcohol based sprays also damage pearls. Third, if you’re wearing your pearls & you use lotion, be sure to rub some into your pearls…they will stay lustrous that way! Finally, the only liquid jewelry cleaner you can use on pearls is the delicate version. You can easily wash them with mild soap & before sure to rub them with lotion after they’re dry! Now I’m going to binge watch your other videos!

Hi Caroline, great haul as ever, Moissanite was originally discovered in 1893 by Henri Moissan. It was from a meteorite but modern day Moissanite is lab created with the same elements that were in the meteorite. Genuine Moissanite from a meteor is rare and costs hundreds of thousands. Created Moissanite should have twice the brilliance of a diamond and on the scale is only slightly less hard. I discovered it years ago and love it. I have some pieces that are over 16 years old but they look just like new. 😊😊xxxx

I just read a comment today on someone’s channel, that they checked the bar code on the certificate of authenticity that comes with the moissanite, and it indicated “fake.” Not sure what that means, but I love the ring I got from Temu.

I have real pearl ear rings, bracelets and a knotted pearl necklace that I'm hoping will be passed on and on in my family. I was told when I bought the neckless that when you wear your pearls a little of your DNA is absorbed into them (and everyone that wears them) and they get more shinny each time you wear them. I was told Not to put perfume or lotion on while wearing your pearls because that will dull them.
