Encore une super vidéo Didier! Une de mes principales sources d inspiration bunkai avec Froidure, Bilicki, Gimberline et Abernethy. Je pioche en principe là dedans pour mon travail (je cites bien sûr mes sources avec mes partenaires!😅). Ce que j apprécie dans tes vidéos, c’est q elles sont très bien faites, et facilement utilisable pour les appliquer, car très didactiques. Et d avoir pratiqué avec toi en live rend les choses aussi un peu plus simples. Pour la dernière projection de type kata guruma : attention à la chute pour les non judokas! Elle peut être délicate! Salutations et amitiés de la part de l un des « 2 violents »!😂

As always, amazing bunkai from Sensei Didier Lupo, I hope people no matter style take note on how he thinks outside the box, applying bunkai in actual self-defense moves - as its supposed to be.

i like a lot of this, but I do not think the so called rising punch is in fact a blow. I think it is a parry, raising the arm into the long guard. If you try making this movement as a rising punch you find it is is dreadfully weak and couldn't knock over a fly. But it works as a parry.

You form and karate are fine. However If you punch someone if the throat with that speed and power he won’t be there in the position for you to grab his collar and throw him. Think about it. This kata was most likely a Chinese double sword form that has been converted to a an empty hand form. It really doesn’t make much sense no matter how many attempts by everyone are made to try to make sense out of it. Just my personal opinion
