I was a 1st responder during the attack of the World Trade Center in 2001 and I remember watching this on TV, I forget if it was a week or 2 later but this song still to this day brings me to tears. In my 20 year career this was the worse experience my brothers and sisters in blue encountered. The FDNY suffered the most casualties. Many continue to die long after from WTC related illnesses like cancer...may they rest in peace..💙❤🙏🙏🙏
