I'm 30yrs old now. I first heard this on holiday in Malta when I was 12. For years I have always remembered how much I loved it but couldn't find it. I cannot believe I have finally found it again on the last day of 2017. And this whole time I didn't know it was enrique as I was so young. Probably my favourite song ever 😍

This song captures an emotion for me that is way too hard to put in words. My dad used to play this song on multiple different road trips. I just love this video.The music is filled with so passion. I wish I could be that girl..... I love everything about the video. Enrique's steamy eyes filled with such passion..... ooo... he really can mesmerize any girl!!!!! The spanish music, it's really a rhythmic divine!!!!! Personally, I stand by this not only being the best song of his career, the best song to come out of the Latin Wave of that era, but also, one of the best songs of the 90s. This song was one of the last moments of true elated happiness before the new millennium and the loss of happiness that many of us had. I was poor, but music like this still made the 90s a bright moment. I will never feel like I did then, but this song brings back a sense of that happiness again.

The first time I heard this I was 19 and living in Belize. They would play it all night long at a neighborhood bar across the street from where we lived. Fell in love with it in the hot sultry nights with the heat lightning illuminating the clouds. My goddess, you could feel peoples' hearts burning. How he chased a wave maiden to the edge of the sea.
