Entebbe International Airport expansion initiates land acquisition and compensation process

The Civil Aviation Authority plans to acquire land near Entebbe International Airport for airport expansion efforts. According to the Director General of Uganda Civil Aviation Authority, Fred Bamwesigye, the six-month plan aims to register all the individuals who would be affected for compensation before the expansion commences. On Thursday, MPs on the Infrastructure Committee toured Entebbe Airport to inspect the expansion works.

Yes. Emphasis must be put on Kabalega International Airport not Entebbe Kivulu International Airport. Uganda doesn't revolve around Buganda. The entire country must develop.

Acquire the land and then build the same style like the old building? You need people with real infrastructural skills to design an airport that’s international level not the joke of airport u have now .

Uganda needs an airport that meets international standards, but my question is ,how does Buwaya mamba clan land ,which is located across the water , come into picture for expansion, unless they are planning to build new terminals and runways on water. If it is not land grabbing then what is it

As you do expansions mind the cleanliness of the existing entity. On Sunday I was at the Airport to pick someone but the air from the toilets was so bad. Air fresheners cannot be a luxury for an international airport.

Try to employ people who understand how international customers travel,dont do things as if u are doing them for people from your villages. The cleaners u employ at airport need exposure. Your toilets and rest rooms are dirty without airfresheners. Generally u need to train your airport staffs
