The remake is awesome. Alessia did the front vocals and the warning did the rest. This was done remotely as Covid limited Canada and Mexico to send their pats and make this video. This was entered as Metallica's #1 on their album. Love the reaction and stay safe.🎇

Alessia Cara and The Warning did the music video separated from each other because of the pandemic. Once the restrictions were over Alessia and The Warning did get a chance to perform together once on stage. Check their performance of Enter Sandman at the Teatro Metropolitan. Alessia’s prerecorded background vocals is a part of the song and Dany acknowledges Alessia before they sing. If you want to go back in time, see The Warning as children doing a faithful cover of Enter Sandman in 2014.

The bassist Ale helps out sometimes when Dany can't. Pau the drummer has her own songs she sings lead on. Try the songs Dust to Dust or 24 from the Teatro Metropolitan concert to see the drummer in action singing lead.

Ale helps out when Dany is ill on some songs but mostly sings backing vocals. Pau sings lead on some songs like Dust to Dust which you've done before or 23 and her and Dany share lead vocals on Disciple, Survive and others all are incredible especially from this show. As much as I love the original version which is an iconic classic, I prefer this version!

Paulina (drummer) sings lead in some of their songs, like "Dust to dust", "23", "The End", "Revenant", to name a few. She also shares lead with Dany in a few songs like "Survive" and "Disciple". Alejandra (bassist) is more than capable of singing lead but she doesn't like to do it. In very rare occasions, when Dany is feeling sick and her voice isn't at 100%, Ale would sing a couple of songs to let Dany rest during a show.

Pau does a cover of Radiohead’s “Creep”. Wait, what I meant to say is, it was nice of Radiohead to write that song for Pau before she was born. Pure emotion! Don’t forget they’re on Jimmy Kimmel tomorrow night (Martin Short is guest host). Thanks for reacting to The Warning!

This is a bit of genius collaboration between Alessia Cara and The Warning. Metallica approached Alessia first. Her management company is the same as the Warning's, so when she asked for help, they called from Canada to Mexico and the connection resulted in this Covid lockdown collaboration over the Internet. This is the song that started it all for The Warning, with a straight cover in 2014 when they were 9, 12, and 15. It went viral, catapulting them to where they are today. Album #4 drops THIS WEEK. For Pau songs, try 23, Revenant, Narcissista , Survive. On Narcissista, she comes up front and her drum tulor Beto Ramos plays. It is a song she wrote as a teen as a response to critics telling them that they should be writing songs in Spanish and some calling them Maracista, basically a cultural traitor. Well, Pau responded with their first Spanish release. So you want a song in Spanish, she said, here's one! Get the lyrics and a translation. The big deal here is Pau's performance. 🤘

As many have said Teatro Metropolitan, all songs excellent, and since you always been a Metallica Fan you might want to check out their cover of ATLAS RISE at Whiskey-A-Go-Go 2019 as the final act they absolutely KILLED it, Dany 18, Pau 16, Ale 13 years at the time (it was the last time playing a cover on their shows except "their" Enter Sandman).

You're smile when Daniela started singing... when I listen to this version I always think, oh Alessia's taking this first verse, I quite like her voice... but then Dany kicks in and it's a whole 'nother wicked, rock&roll, fierce level of vocals. Especially the way she sings "dragon's fire," which always gives me chills. (no offense A.C!). The drummer is Paulina : ). She's a *_VERY-* special person/talent, as you'll come to find out more and more. I recommend to watch "The End" from Lunario CDMX for one insane example of how amazing she is.

Can't wait for September 18th. I'm seeing The Warning in Cleveland Ohio at the Agora theater.

You should check out the live version at "Teatro Metropolitan"CDMX. You'll probably love it a little more. Dany has really developed her Hetfeld "growl" in it. "Pau" doesn't "just help out" when Dany can't. Pau IS the lead singer in several songs. "23" and "Dust to Dust" as well as "Narcisista" and "Revenant" from this conert(Teatro Metropolitan) as well. There isn't a bad song in this concert.🤟TWA

When Metallica did the Black List album they wanted bands to Reimagining their songs, not "cover" them. Metallica offered bands that they shared the same record label with the opportunity to do a song from the Black album and Canadian pop star Alessia Cara got a phone call. Alessia asked the Metallica people if it would be alright to include The Warning, Alessia shares the same manager with The Warning I think. This video was filmed during COVID restrictions so Alessia filmed her self at home in Ontario and The Warning filmed at home in Monterey I believe. They all collaborated back & forth online for this whole process. Their's is the BEST song done on the Black List album according to most people in the industry.❤ p.s. The Warning are so cool that when they play this song live they include a track of Alessia's backing vocals in the performance which I have never seen before, usually if two artists do a duet they just have someone in their band sing the other artists part live.

I personally like the version at Teatro Metropolitan way better. When you asked in the beginning who was singing, that was Alessia Cara. I think Dany’s voice fits better, don’t get me wrong Alessia’s voice is great.

The Warning's version is as equally powerful as the original, and it's the opener on The Black List album. To do what The Warning have done to probably the most iconic metal song ever recorded is unmatched. These girls made the song more of the haunting lullaby than the original in my book (and I say that with respect to the original). Also the girls play this a lot differently live than the studio version. Dany does the bedtime prayer more aggressively (where Pau is more haunting and more ethereal in the recorded version), the slow harmonic vocalizing during the build up (Pau and Ale) are not present in the live version (they both harmonize with Dany). Dany sings Alessia's part and you only hear Alessia's "whoa's" between verses) This is why I disagree with fans that say ONLY watch live performances. To capture everything with The Warning, the live stuff is not enough. The studio version gives you nuance that live can't reproduce even with the best gear or backing tracks (venues are noisy and have a lot of sound reflections). The Warnings music is best served both studio and live. Studio is for your ears, and live is for your eyes. LONG LIVE THE WARNING #GetWarned⚡⚡⚡🤘🤘🤘💛💓💙

The live version is better , they do t play it exactly like this anymore or ever actually , they made some stylistic changes , for the better .

Have you listened to V.O.B ? Voice Of Baceprot . A 3 piece female band from Indonesia . They do a version of this which I think totally destroys the original.
