Here's some more tips Shoot a chest once or twice before opening it because it may turn into a mimic You can open brown/blue chests at the beginning of the game but once you start getting good try to keep your keys for green chests or better Keys are really rare and really useful when you see one in a shop, get it If you hold your gun switching button (triangle on playstation) the screen goes slow motion to choose your weapons, use this to your advantage to dodge bullets From time to time you will find big cracks in the walls use blank to reveal a secret chest Shortcuts are a thing you will unlock, there not bad but using them will make you miss out on good loot Try to conserve your ammo by using your gun with infinite ammo on easier rooms because guns with ammo are alot stronger but run out of that ammo very quickly

I've been playing this for a week having a blast barely making it past the first floor and the second floor boss. It's weird as I can beat Souls games with little to no attention paid, but I rarely play games like this and it kicks my ass in a fun way. This game is awesome to take on the go with my Switch. the real protip here is actually just to use the charge attack with the megahand. got it once and didn't even know it had a charge attack. 45 damage per charge compared to 6 damage per single shot

How do I use saved hearts?

Honestly there aren’t any tips you can give someone that’s going to help them with this game. It really boils down to mastering the Dodge roll... After that, whether you progress or not is kind of dependent on luck. If you’re lucky, there will be some good weapons and passives on the first three floors, that will make the fourth and fifth floors easier to beat. If you’re unlucky, you won’t be able to earn much money, the items in the store are all going to suck, and the items in the chests won’t really help... that’s if you can even find any keys. I have just over 200 hours on this game… And I can say with absolute certainty that the largest portion of this game comes down to r&g. After a couple of hundred deaths, you will be skilled enough to handle anything the game throws at you, but it comes down to luck to a degree. So get praying.. R&Geesus might take pity on you.

Why are there spoilers in a beginners guide?

I bought this game on switch, I've tried at least 100 times to end the first floor but I can't, it's just too difficult for me. I'm having trouble with the movement of the right analogue stick while I'm running with the left. My brain just can't control them both. I'm just not enjoying the the game right now
