Y’know the best part, to me, is that Diana doesn’t leave immediately after taking care of the threat. She stays and comforts the people who were being held hostage. “Are you okay?” And “It’s over now. It’s all good.”

The little touch I love is 3:53 when she gets hit by one bullet and yells in pain. She’s super tough, but bullets still hurt which is why she blocks them with her bracelets. It’s just a tiny touch that makes the character feel like she’s practical rather than showing off.

She didn't really yell in pain. She is bullet proof to an extreme manner. She can only be pierced by bullets after a significant amount of being weakened.

Until the last bad guy where, instead of just moving fast and taking him out, she destroys the entire floor of the building and risks collapsing it onto everyone. Kind of weird.

When wonder woman does it, people criticize her. But when any other superhero does it, nobody bats an eye. I know I’m going to get attacked in the comments by the gatekeepers for saying this. But that's how I see it.

I do enjoy the contrast of how ruthlessly efficient she was during this combat sequence and how casual and friendly she was when checking on the hostages. The superhero goddess visage dropped and she was just a sweet and kind woman concerned about everyone's safety.

Something that I feel that the DCEU movies have always done better than the MCU is showcasing the real human perspective; there's always real weight given to things that would be written off as background noise in an MCU movie. Bullets feel threatening, collateral damage isn't glossed over, you can really feel just how much these heroes are beyond the common man, & because of all that, you can also tell how much these gods care about the people they're protecting.

2:09 There's something about the way Diana moves that just makes sense. Like, of course the animation looks kind of wacky, but we also don't know what it actually looks like for a human to move that quickly. Her running as well; It almost looks like she's teleporting. It reminds me of how Faora moved in Man Of Steel. I think Snyder has a really good view on how superhuman speed should look. Props to the VFX teams for making his vision possible.

According to actual comic lore she wouldn't. Cheetah is her rival for a reason. She was cursed by a god. She's just as strong and fast as Diana. In fact in terms of speed she's in DCs top 10. Her claws and fangs can penetrate alien anatomy as well such as Kryptonians like Kal El himself. She could really damage him if she tried. Yeah the plot for the sequel was underwhelming with the whole Diana losing her powers shit. But Cheetah should never be underestimated at all.

Who would complain about her killing, she had too. Less than 15 seconds, at the speed she had to move would have killed them regardless. She's not the flash (She don't have a speed force) This is probably the most realistic hero scene.

Been watching JL animated series in my whole life before DCEU, I just pointed out that she has great speed in our perspective but to her that's just normal. In DCEU, she's the daughter of Hippolyta and Zeus but in the animated series she's said to be the daughter of Eris and Hippolyta. Either way, she *IS* a *demigod.*

My favorite part is the high speed movements. Really makes it extra clear how she is a super human being. That's what I noticed with Snyder and superheros. He portrays them as the superhuman beings that they are. He loves to dramatize them, make it really clear they are beyond humans. MCU tends to "humanize" its heroes, make them goofy, relatable. I mean I like that too but I also like Snyder's portrayal as well. Snyder provides a good contrast of hero portrayals to the MCU.

Yep he shows the heroes as if they're gods because they basically are. And I love how he included Batman/Bruce as the human whose trying to adapt to them and provide strategy and tech for the team while also holding his own.

Snyder's whole perpective on the DCEU was based off the game "Injustice" "Gods among us" storyline (eventual evil superman, Batman and Joker being a vital key to everything) add in Darkseid to broaden the DC Universe immensely with the hugely popular Jack Kirby "4th world" story arcs in the comics! Imagine seeing the "New Gods' "Forever People" "Mr. Miracle" and "Jimmy Olsen" crossing over through the Green Lantern core, Martian Manhunter, and the coming of "Brainiac" on the big screen!!! Add in the visual world of Apokolips and New Genesis!! Zack was about to blow the lid off DCEU and give the MCU a run for its money!!!!

The special effect of her movement and power is SOOO convincing, it´s the best I´ve seen in a superhero movie by far, you really feel it´s the actress, she has weight and presence and reality, and her movements are so fucking cool. Imagine if this was a Martian Manhunter intro/enter scene. My idea is what if it was White Martians instead of Terrorist creating Chaos and the police didn't know how to handle them, but at the last minute, Martian Manhunter shows up with the same Energy as Diana did here, and used the full extent of his Unique powers to take them down. So Phasing, Shapeshifting, Telepathy, Strength, and Martian Heat Vision, and afterward just before the police arrive, he shapeshifts into one of the hostages.

She was portrayed much better in the first Wonder woman movie and became meh in this movie with the horrible slow motions, he meaningless interrogation means, the terrible song that plays when she's around, the stupidity of her bursting brains in front of kids and blowing up a building to murder a man she could easily take out and the plot hole of how if she was faster than machine gun bullets and took out Ares, she should have easily been able to defeat Steppenwolf on her own since Ares took out Darkseid with one strike and Steppenwolf is slower than even horses. There is definitely something to be said for allowing a director creative direction instead of allowing the executives to rule everything. We get a scene like this which is 10x better than the entirety of the Josstice League. I still have no idea how WB came up with the idea to allow Joss Whedon to even come close to Snyder’s project. It’s total lunacy to see how vastly different their creative visions are. Snyder actually focused on creating moments like this genuinely intense and not just another bunch of idiots who think they can change the world with a bomb, whereas Whedon decided to cut out all of important parts that while they may be small, they carry significance visually and story wise.

@@ohio The era before 'film by committee' when director's were allowed to have their vision - for good or for ill? Can you imagine the likes of Apocalypse Now, Godfather, The Deer Hunter, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Raiders of the Lost Ark, just about anything from the 60s, etc etc being constrained by the committees? I think the balance in films these days has tipped more to the money side. I wish they would find a healthier balance. People have very mixed feelings about Snyder but the man has a vision and he runs with it, again good or bad. I like that. I like all of Snyder's DC films. And his take on Wonder Woman is still, bar none, the most genuine and touching depiction of the character I've seen on screen. Same with the Wachowskis, Wes Anderson, Paul Thomas Anderson, Julie Taymor, Terry Gilliam, and many others. It's one thing if you hand an 'untested' talent (Josh Trank) something of massive scope, but if you hand Denis Villeneuve the reins, back the fuck off and let him work.

This moment here is why the Snyder Cut was perfect for Wonder Woman's character. I love how the actual Wonder Woman theme just start just exactly when the action intensify, the pacing of the new theme goes from ANGELIC to BADASS exactly when the actions speed up, just small details that make you appreciate the editing, pacing, music, filming and camera work to perfection..................Whedon version you don't get anything of that, the music starts as soon the scene of wonder woman reveal at the beginning, like they are in a rush to get this scene over as fast as possible....Snyder take the time, building up the tension, so by the time the wonder woman theme kicks in, you feel the excitement and power that you want to feel watching a super hero, just whoop the sorry asses of these jerks.

@@vetarlittorf1807 WW84 is way worse than BVS. Atleast in BvS, Diana is a true warrior who fought Doomsday. What did WW84 do to diana? They made her get beaten by wind, also let not forget that controversial part of the movie where she slept with steve which body didn’t belong to him anyway.

“ZsJL iS tOo dArK aNd sErIouS, hE uSeS tOo mUcH sLoW mOtIoN” People don’t understand. Not all superhero films have to be a lighthearted comedy adventure. I think this movie was amazing! It had well balanced humor along with the tone.

People are just too used to the MCU, they think DC should be exactly like them. Even Zack Snyder disagrees on that.

@@deonambrose The sad thing is if WB just stuck with the plan that Snyder had, we would've gotten Ben Affleck's The Batman, a Cyborg movie, a Man of Steel 2, and even Justice League 2 and 3. But, NOOO, WB had to choose Birds of Prey, WW84, and a black Clark Kent movie over them.

trop de slow motion quand meme, si le spectateur se dis "tient encore un ralentie" c qu'il y en a trop tu es censé etre a fond dans le film et pas y faire attention et personnellement je ressent plus l'effet de vitesse quand diana se deplace super vite sans slow motion
