I've been playing on Extinction the last couple nights on a new file and it's so bad that every time I open the damn inventory or move more than three steps in the span of less than two seconds, it freezes several times consecutively and just lags horribly. Or I'll sit and stare at a dino and the stupid texture will render then go back out and come back, even after things have already settled a bit. I'm playing on my ps4. This makes me want to get a pro. I'll likely just migrate to my laptop full-time gor Ark if this keeps up though. That thing runs the game flawlessly. Sigh -.-

Creatures that have bleed: Haha bleed go BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

It makes sense - firstly, people have been complaining for god knows how long about how some creatures can't cause a bleed despite having giant teeth/claws so it goes a way to shutting them up (though some are still complaining that the Theri looks like it should have one, even though that would be horrifyingly OP). Secondly, a consistent problem in this game has been your ability to (relatively quickly) breed a mount which is completely unthreatened by even 50 of most creatures, which means you quickly go from everywhere being really dangerous to everywhere being easy. Thirdly, the bleed creatures have been a meta-pick for certain bosses/missions/major challenges to the point that most other creatures are kind of pointless to pick up for any reason other than "I want one" (a perfectly good reason to get one, but it's nicer for it to feel generally viable instead of "Well, time to swap you out for a giga army"). Adding a bleed to a wide variety of decent battle creatures fixes all of those things. Finally, it's hugely important to levelling the field a bit in PvP - players can now use a fast and agile bleed creature to run rings around an alpha tribes level 2000 Giga while slowly chipping away at it's health, letting you fight smarter instead of harder. Before, you were basically stuck with a match where your dino has to slug it out against theirs and you were always going to lose unless you had a large enough tribe/little enough of an actual life to breed your own stupidly OP version. WildCard have been making a real effort to plug the gaps in creature usefulness lately, such as the genesis map which makes mobility creatures (like the thyla) a good pick for traversing a map instead of just the automatic "get a flyer" and the water boss, which lets you use all of the awesome sea creatures as more than an escort for gathering silica/black pearls (those being basically the only thing you HAVE to go into the water to gather in large amounts on most maps). Of course though, some people would find something to complain about if they added 10 new maps, several new tiers of armour and weapons and 100 new creatures and every single one of them had a unique and game changing effect. But whatever they have to say, I'm looking forward to more danger and more variety in viable mounts.

When Syn was fighting some carnos with the wyvern, there was a visible bleeding effect. I feel that would not have been put in if the effect was just that of a broken bone.

They do reduce Health just Like a bleed, so I feel Like They have a bleed and not a broken bond effect
