In regards to our Reaction videos:
As many of you know KZfaq can be an unpredictable and often unfair place when it comes to copyright rules and their enforcement. If our video ends up getting cut due to copyright reasons it will be labeled in the title as a Review rather than a Reaction. The music video portion of the video will be cut out and you will only see our before and after thoughts. Unfortunately this is the best we can do under those circumstances and we would appreciate a Like rating on our videos to help us overcome any negative algorithmic affects.

I agree with Vile. I really enjoyed this album, BUT I can only listen to it once a day. This is in contrast to an album like A Sign of Things to Come by Sylosis, which I couldn't stop playing for over a month. It's a solid 8 for me. It pushes boundaries. Great riffs. It would have been a 10/10 for me, but the replay value just isn't hitting the right way which I think is BECAUSE it's so diverse. Oddly enough, the diversity is a great strength, but for me personally, the album is stretched just slightly too thin on continuity.

This album is a lot to digest. I liked it on first listen and it has some killer moments but over all I found it overwhelming. I do love the thrash and death elements in there. That instrumental is killer!

The thrash elements always please me. Before I got into deathcore and especially my beloved metalcore, I was a thrash head. I love when heavier bands like EE combine thrash. 😁

I loved this entire album and I've been listening to it a lot. Like 3 days straight after it came out, didn't get tired of it. Abyss was one of the few intros/short songs that I actually really liked and added to my playlist, always epic when it comes on. I liked the variety of sounds on the album like they did with blood and teeth.

With The Chosen being my album of the year, based on my most listened to album, and seeing the departure of the vocalist, I thought my love for EE would die. However, after listening to their new album and not expecting much, it blew my mind and for that it could be a strong contender for this year’s album of the year. I like the diversity of music influences in each song that set them apart so much to question are they still deathcore? They are at least more progressive. Progressive deathcore?

I know I am a minority and most guys will not appreciate my comments, but...As a Christian, I was very hesitant to dive further into the record after hearing "I, Divine". Not a fan of the lyrics. But, I will say, I was blown away by the instrumentation of this record. AMAZING. 9/10. It's definitely an AOTY contender. Just wish the lyrics weren't quasi demonic in some songs.

I love EE but this wasn't as good as their last outing. I agree, I Divine is the track I skip. Just didn't workout for me. Super talented band in ability and writing.

My favorite album by them will always be Luciferous. I liked their previous one and this one is great too. The replay value isn’t there for me yet at least. I feel sometimes they go a little too far out stylistically on a song and it ruins the flow of the album. Wether that being they go super thrashy, or they incorporate cleans where I’m like ehhh this song didn’t need that. I appreciate them for making a truly unique album though and I do enjoy it. But to listen to more than once is iffy for me

I liked it, but I can’t help to feel that sometimes Travis’s clean vocals are too much for me sometimes. I liked them in Casket of Rust and Psalm of Agony, but in some of the songs it just drags it down for me a little. (Not being one of those clean vocals don’t belong in deathcore people). But i also can’t shake the feeling that if Psalm of Agony would have started the album with a punch to the face. I may have been a little more intrigued.

With this album, I found myself skipping sections of songs, or some songs entirely to finish the album sooner after a couple full listens. Doesn't mean it's a bad album or anything, because some songs have really good sections, but it fails to keep you gripped the entire way. That said though, Accelerated Demise, I Divine, Casket of Rust and Reapers Servant are bangers, and I'm still gonna go see them live again whenever I can.
