It reminds me of my grandpa as well. My mom (his daughter) doesn't see the resemblance but I do. I feel emotional in the best way from the BFG.

I read the book when I was 10, then I saw this movie with the guy I was dating that time (now my boyfriend) uhm like 16 years later so I was 26. I wasn't a fan of the movie. I think it lacked the visual that the book aimed to impart. I read the book again and went back to clips of the movie. I dunno I still feel the movie didn't measure up, no pun intended.
