Fi real; I was at the the dance early, seeing that it'd be the last dance I would ever attend. Spanish Town ppl booed Stone Love -- especially after the round when Jaro tear up the dance (they played the cummina riddim) and Stone Love led out with Dirtsman (in the 2am bells).

Slaughter is not telling full truth about that stone love and jaro clash at prison ovals. ...the dance was prematurely ended .....by soldiers. ..so making it sound like u kill jaro is not correct ....no sound ever kill jaro Inna skate lawn or ovals

@@MD_ENTERTAINMENT that story he spoke of with briggy and chaplin and weepow speech is correct in the 92 dance and stone love won that dance and the 88 dance.The dance police stop (not soldier) was till 94 and yes jaro was winning that dance. but you are mistaken bredda and thats why trooper always want to catch stonelove after that dance and weepow say they never playing jaro again because of the disrespect.

Stone Love never killed no sound and much less in a real one one clash. Nico Bambam has tried a couple of times to turn a dance into a juggling to kill but he always back down when it done to the nitty gritty.

Weepow despises clashes because the way they are operated today. Clash today don't have any vibes. Remember Stone Love is known as a juggling sound. Besides, there's no money in clashes. A juggling sound can get bookings practically anywhere in the world. Clashes can only be held in certain markets. Weepow ah no eediot. He's a businessman.

Don't know why some selectors aren't willing to admit that they are defeated in clash..... Rate you Billy Slaughter but music is a sport nothing personal and history is there to prove that Stone Love was beaten by Silver Hawk in Ochio Rios, was beaten by BassOdyssey with Tinner One & Squingy, was beaten by Gemini with Glama Wayne, in 1993 at house of Leo Inner City kill uhnuh Killamanjaro kill uhnuh, Body Guard kill Stone Love a few times, not all the clash Stone Love won with Body Guard, Turbo Phonic With Winter Fresh kill Stone Love in Westmoreland....... Metro Media got the better of Stone Love a few times, Jam Rock out juggle Stone Love many times all over town, Swatch int. Got the better of them many a times all so Travellers facts ! One of the thing yuh spoke of which is true Is BassOdyssey put there calibrations together 100% better than Stone Love every time. My opinion !

I think you missed a few good questions, like getting his views on Rory's split from the sound, & the argument about the right to keep using the name Stone Love in his moniker.

Muscle, the Prison Oval is a field that is right in front of the Spanish Town prison. It's not inside the prison. It's a widely used football and cricket field, and other events. They used to have a lot of dances there back in the days.

To date that's the most known sound (Globally). Most of you might dislike father pow but don't be biased! Stone Love did kill Jaro, Bass Odyssey, Bodyguard, Addies to name a few top sounds atleast once in the 90's Shit even had a cassette where they lock aff Mighty Crown in Florida back in 1999 or 2000!
