Emily Blunt is HARDLY an introvert. She has an irritating habit of interrupting and interjecting when another actor is speaking, along with her, to an interviewer. Still, a pleasant personality and formidable acting chops.

I’m happy for RDJ to be able to find a project that elevates him to a level that allows him to be distinguished apart from the MCU’s “Iron Man”. It’s hard to do that when you’re known so well for a specific role. He fucking killed it. So did Cillian and Matt. Florence and Emily were flawless. But really the star of this was Nolan. Masterpiece.

I think one of the reasons Barbenheimer has been such an event is because both films, their stories, the characters, but especially the filmmakers and talent behind both of them are so sincere, engaging, and insightful that it's been like a giant chicken soup for our society's soul. And these films both go into what it's like to feel stuck in the middle of moral conundrums in a very two-sided culture. Just wonderful to experience.

What makes Nolan unique is how brilliant he is as an artistic mind but also down to earth as a professional, he's not hiding behind amazing script ideas and actor's talent, but actually is into the technical aspects. That's the thing about him, and its very rare, and so far he is on top of that in the industry right now. Probably Denis Villeneuve is somewhat getting to this as well with Dune, but with Nolan its in every movie he created.

I think at any point in time when the absolute top crop actors come to a set and feel humbled and excited and acknowledge that "this is the place to be", you know you are working with something that is truly spectacular. You get the sense that they would all want to be present even if they were not getting paid, because at this moment it's simply their pure passion for acting and cinematography that is speaking to them and driving their performance. This is why Nolan is one of my top most respected producers in all of cinema, because every time he turns on that camera, you just know he's doing it to bring an artistic vision to life and nothing else. Denis Villeneuve is another one of the modern greats who also appears like a no-compromise kind of guy who is just out there to do his thing and be visionary, all norms be damned.

I read the Sherwin and Bird bio that inspired this film in a class called United States in the Nuclear Age, and our entire class (which was a seminar, only 8 students), came to feel so strongly about Oppie and his story. We got really emotionally involved for some reason, each of us having a different reading of his life leading up to Los Alamos and the fallout and how he felt, it was the most incredible experience I had in a classroom. It’s kind of breaking our hearts that those 8 students are spread across the country now, because we all wish we could go see this film together. I can’t wait to go, because it looks like Nolan and the cast felt the same thing we did in learning this story.

Seems like they are at such a peak of acting, that they are able to transport themselves outside of themselves and really inject themselves into Nolans direction and idea of the actual people they are trying to portrray. This is a movie that I believe everyone should watch at least once. Even people who thought it was too long or not enough action or too confusing etc. This gives us a huge insight to what those who created the atomic bomb and their life was like. I never stopped to think "How was the atomic bomb made?" And this movie put so much in perspective for me. Reminded me that in that time they were people in the middle of a war and how terrifying and tragic it was....and will be again. Because mankind is greedy and stupid and violent. We will go at war again someday somehow, maybe a long time from now or not, but there will be bombs. And like one of the scientists said to Oppenheimer: "Until they make a bigger bomb". Can you imagine creating a bomb that is powerful enough to destroy the world and still hit the red button? Sorry for getting all tragic. It was a moving film but I came out of the theatres feeling like I had been slapped and I still, and probably won't ever, recover.

And myself espesially, when i watched interstellar, i only knew basic stuff that school has tought, but after i watched it, it impacted to me so much as i only knew so little and it make me want to learn more about our universe. Since his movie based on real science, i felt like it can entice people to increase knowledge or even inspired people to pursue career in science.
