A electronic tabletop game I remember seeing back then in the stores and catalogs. Never did get one and did not play one unit CGE 2014 in Vegas! Neat system and very costly to collect!

I love the box says “high-resolution”, and it is (guessing) 180 by 40. Very cool mechanical display idea. Someone should make a RaspberryPi display kit with 40 LED’s!

I had one of these back in 1982 or so. I think on Super Cobra you could use your bombs to make the opening bigger. Fun system back in the day.

Dang it i feel so old after this video.Could remember playin Scramble on a Table Arcade in a Pub near my Residence in that time we hadnt that much money so we manipulated the arcades with a steel wire pokin in the coin slot a liitle left a little right a little deeper and repeated this until it added some credits on the screen^^ the negative side effect was that this only works for some older coin slots and you could easyly shortcut and even destroy the Motherboard with this Action-xD but after a few weeks my friend and me became little pros in this discipline^^ so during the school holidays and the weekends we used to traveled through our City the Suburbs and the neighboor Citys searching for Arcades with the right coin slots.after a few month we also discovered that the piezo element in them lighters where you must press a button to enlight the fire also added credits on some arcades which contained some more modern coin slots but also destroy the Arcade by damagin the picture tube if the piezo was used at he wrong places. so during our experiments which of our methods works on the different Arcades we inevitable destroyed one or two (Hundred :) of them but dang it.i wont forget this time^^

@@SVT512 yeah Dude wont miss them times for no money in da frickin world the 80s where the golden age of arcade games and arcade halls nowerdays you wont find any arcade halls in Germany which is very sad i would love to plays some of this old games like Donkey Kong,Missile Command,1942,Paperboy or Scramble sure you can play these games on pc with emulators but this special kind of atmosphere is not there if you know what i mean :) nowerdays there are only halls where you can play this slotmachine like games which costs you 40 cent per gayme and is over in less than 10 seconds and this is not my kind of gaming fun i prefer the good old arcade games which i would love to see comeback but unfortunately i think these times are over for ever and thats the reason why i wont miss the 80s and they cant take this memorys off me.but thats how life goes old stuff disappers and new stuff is coming around until its old and repeat^^ please dont stop this tubes i would lovve to see more of this classic consoles and games:) i used to play a game called"ELEVATOR ACTION" and ia am searching for an old arcade machine with this game but couldnt find one maybe you have mor luck with finding one of these machines stay tuned and live long and prosper"V"

we used thick fishing line! Shaped like a "C"! It only damages the coin slot if not used properly but did not short cut anything!

I only did shitshot by plug-wiggling a "Monza GP" arcade racing machine (which was TTL based hardware). Rapidly replugging into mains made the game crash in demo mode, but sometimes started in the mid of game. However typically the score display (LED segment) usually did not work and there were other glitches (sprite mess etc.) too. Kids also tried to insert a cardboard strip or washers or a coin (with drilled hole) on a thread, but this didn't really work.

I've got one of these...but i only have 3 of the 4 game cartridges...i'm missing the "Space Force" cartridge. I just saw on Ebay...its selling for $500 plus shipping...just for the cartridge! Oy! So, I'm wondering how much my console one is worth with just the 3 games...it still works, too! I bought it a long long time ago at a yard sale.

Its just video editing. Although it would be cool for mame! I am not familiar on how to even do that.

@@SVT512 I tried and had been sucessfull putting in other handheld games like Konami, Tiger (downloaded artwork, just put it inside artwork folder) and even had modified artwork for handhelds that I couldn't find...but this one and Select-a-game seems that don't work...snif, thanks

This could have worked as a pocket system, why not try that? there a commercail available dotmatrix screen back in 82? right? I wonder why they decided on a tabletop game machine?

This used a rotating mirror to make the screen. it only had a single row of leds :)
