My first system of coarse was the punch 45 and RF 15” sub. My second system was the Hifonics Cyclops (100x1) and a Kicker 15” sub which was so much louder it was unreal! This is before Kicker made amps; we’re talking late 80s/early 90s. During this time Hifonics and Orion was “Dominating” the amplifier game. Kicker has always been the best subs in my opinion and I’ve had so many different subs I tried but ALWAYS went back to the Kicker sub.#Kicker🔊

Have a single 12" Comp RT overpowered in a sealed box under my rear seats on my F150. Couldn't be happier with the bass quality with my limited space.

I just recently hooked up a CompS 12 with I believe a 4ohm with a boss riot 1100 watt amp pushing it (fixing to upgrade to a kicker amp) and I absolutely love it

My first big setup was two old Kicker comp 12's in a sealed box, taking up 2/3rds of my single cab F150. They rattled things I didn't know could rattle, and survived a miraculously long time for what I did to them. Years later, I got a Kicker 10" in a tiny behind-seat box, and I wasn't happy. No lows, the port was a joke and sounded better sealed off, and died a very anticlimactic death. Haven't touched a Kicker since.

Just blew my 15 inch Comp from 2010. Its still plays but about 50% reduced volume. It was a good sub taking about 500rms for years only being rated at 250 rms. Will be ordering a Comp VR this go round.

I love Kickers. Just hooked up two 10 inch Comp R 400RMS, running on a Kicker 600.1 CX amp and sound great.

from experience the comps,,cvx,,cvr,,L7 are the originals that made kicker what they are and are the ones i would recommend for durability

My favorite kicker sub is the L7 Q class. There is not that big of an improvement over the SPL over the regular L7 but, the bass sound quality the L7 Q class is amazing. I am more of an SQ kind of guy but, SPL is nice too.

Some store sold me the comp. I never knew that there was more to the kicker family. I would have gotten a different sub. Thank for the video very information 👍

I have 2 compVX 10s under the seat of a ext cab Silverado, they set off car alarms across the parking lot. it's all about the box you put them in and clean power.

i picked up the 10 inch VX when it came out for my xterra and that little 10 rattles my wipers and mirrors. people think its dual 12s. i push it hard and now im adding another vx and bigger amp. that VX is the way to go i cant imagine how the 15s must feel.

I bought a kicker comp c in a ported truck box it is 300 watts rms 600 peak it is a shallow mount 10 inch sub it was $119 at Best Buy if you don’t have that much space this is perfect it sound good I have read reviews a lot of people have giving it bad reviews I don’t know why it dishes out good bass it doesn’t take up that much space

I have 4 12 inch CVR Subs. I believe that they are the '07 models. They are silver with the red label in the middle of the cone. 2 of them I've used for 3 years and the other 2 are still brand new in the box and haven't been touched. I've had these subs for about 6 years now.

Hi my name is Nick I am 44 years old I have been studying the way sound and air movement work together and the best ways to get the energy to flow when it comes to designing speaker boxes I have spent my entire adult life designing a box that I built it put into my 4Runner which cost me all of my money over the years to get this right and probably six relationships and it's a force order bandpass Box but not just any bandpass box this is something that is not out in the market something that'll knock your freaking socks off when you believe how amazing it sounds kind of like when you heard Bo's little clock radio for the first time when I was hungover when I heard that it sounded like somebody had the radio huge radio blaring but it was just a little clock radio and it was so clear I have figured that out wood base I won't go into the tuning and stuff details but I had four different 12 inch kicker I had one comp C12 1 comp R 12 1 comp Q 12 N1 Solo-Baric 12 this box was made out of wood epoxy in fiber resin and had an amp for each 12 would that also had a extra battery installed and the back of my 4Runner total this box probably weighed 120 lb and it sounded so ridiculous someone the neighbor from across the street came over and said she was ringing my doorbell but didn't hear her she basically broken entry into my home came into my garage and scared the crap out of me and asked me if I could turn it down because I was knocking stuff off of her walls I said really she goes yes that sounds ridiculous I said that's what I was hoping for and I planned on pitching it to kicker but then the unthinkable happened someone stole the entire system except the deck they took the entire box which had the amps on Springs sort of to keep from vibrating on the box they stole the capacitors the extra battery and all the fuses without anybody seeing a freaking thing in a parking lot on they stole the whole hatch off the back of the f****** 4Runner how in the hell did they do that and they did it quickly they didn't know what they were doing then it cut anyting it was like a NASCAR pit crew came in Jack my s*** up change my tires was out before I even know what happened except it was a base crew that came in took my hachof stole it and took my whole system out before I knew it I am devastated and I no longer have the love for it anymore I'm not spending another dime I am just broken because of this that someone that knew what they were doing must have known what I was doing and targeted me I mean it was somebody scared that what did I was going to hurt their business or something I'm just little old me I was trying to just design because of the love of it and I wanted to I don't know possibly either sell the idea or get a freaking job for kicker I was having any nefarious ideas like some people out there for the first time in my life I actually had something that was good that nobody else has thought of and I put it together in a way that people said wasn't possible or frowned upon it when I hear people from stereo places say you can't do something that really pisses me off because you can do it they are just f****** lazy and don't want to expand our thinking or put any timer to effort into it and what's even worse is when you do and some jackass crew comes in and steals your entire life I apologize for the language but I and no longer have the ambition for this stereo stuff anymore it would have to be a miracle to get me to get back into it but this just broke me my name is Nick I am from upstate New York the louche Capitol of the world and if anyone from kicker would like to talk to me to find out how I made their quad box sound like that Fisher Price toy barn when you opened the door it said mooo. I would be honored to meet with kicker and work out something for my design that will literally have kicker cornering the market even if they weren't trying to.
