I took this test from a book about 10 years ago with my friends and wife there. I was an ENTJ and each personality type had a quote that went with it. Mine said “Everything’s fine, I’m in charge”. I said “that’s not me”. My wife and friends all started laughing hysterically. “Know thy self”

Hahaha, yes. I'm ENTP and when I took the test I found out my personality is the same as The Joker (from Batman). Like yourself I said "that's not me" and also my family began laughing wildly. I am an INTJ. But during work more recently I have been forced to use my Te much more than I would have liked. Both of us have Te, Ni as top cognitive functions, just different order. The reason why you don’t feel “everything is fine”, I am guessing is that, we see dangers coming from all directions. Things only turn out to be fine as an end result, as a result of our efforts but things are definitely not fine in the moment. Outsiders would find us powerful, in charge of things. But we are constantly stressed trying to keep the boat afloat. At least that is my Te, Ni journey.

I saw Matt’s questions about Kate’s marital and family status as looking to see if she had any outside commitments or distractions that would interfere with a mission that requires long weird hours, days on end, and significant danger. Of course, in real life, they would’ve already screened the records for somebody like that before bringing her in for a face-to-face, but the movie had to get a point across.

The records can tell you the CORRECT answers beforehand, but the RIGHT answers can only be known by seeing her expression. Keith and his partner are not Texas Rangers, they are U.S. Marshals. You made the same error in your analysis of Alejandro . U.S. Marshals are federal law enforcement officers responsible for federal prisoner transport and tracking down fugitives. Texas Rangers are state law enforcement officers that are a branch of the Texas Bureau of Public Safety. I’m guessing here, but I don’t think Texas Rangers would be used in a covert operation of this type. The prisoner was taken from a Mexican prison across an international border to an American military base to be interrogated under duress. The whole operation was attempted to be conducted in secret and was likely illegal. CIA, FBI, Delta force , US Marshals, and a CIA trained assassin. No Texas Rangers.
@TheDon62
@TheDon62 4 ай бұрын
You do realize most deputy marshals are essentially “part time” deputies for the marshal service, and are for all intents and purposes “full time” whatever agency they originate from and are simply “attached” to the marshals service, right? Very few marshals are fully and solely employed by the USMS.

Kate represents America’s last vestiges of the notion of law and order; the notion that kicking in doors and taking down bad guys will eventually produce results. But by the very end of the film she/America must realize that she has to let go of the unsuccessful tactics she has been engaged in and leave the hunting to the wolves. Her character was a necessary stand-in for audiences of the first film but entirely unnecessary by the second.

It could be said that Sicario offers us an alternative to justice that is closer to the law of nature. That is to say, in Sicario the nature of crime is understood and it is fought from its same perspective. Morality has no place in perversion. The laws and rules attached to the penal code are the blah blah blah that applies to other non-existent realities in the hell of this dirty war. Here, relentless vengeance is the closest thing to justice. Alejandro, saves us from suffering the film with rage and with hatred entrenched in our hearts.

Delta Force counterterrorists have full authority, from the President, to operate inside the borders of the United States and likewise, to handle business worldwide. They are the only American military counterterrorists who can, and do, operate clandestine anywhere, stateside and worldwide, both solo and in teams. The movie was very entertaining but the idea that a CIA clandestine services officer would need to bring in an FBI special agent, co-ordinating with a Delta Force counterterrorist team, in order to hunt down a Mexican cartel leader stateside or in Mexico, is simply not true. If Delta Force got the order to hunt down the cartel leader, they would have full legal authority to execute the mission. The second Sicario movie was far closer to the truth.

It's meaningless, just an acronym for a result from a pseudo-scholarly "testing" hustle that popped up in the 1990's and then got laughed off the planet. It's as scientific as your daily horoscope.

Oh was there something I missed? Interesting I need to look into it. Thankyou. This is the second video I ever made and at the time I was teaching myself Premier Pro. The video sat on almost zero views for around 58 days before it blew up. Why it exploded I have no idea. I didn't check back in on the channel until last week.

Hey there. For your info, the Meyers-Briggs personality test is pseudoscience

All science is theory. Myer-Briggs is based on the writings of Carl Jung, namely his book "Psychological Types", however the inventors were not considered academics. A discussion of the validity of this personality test would make a great video. Thanks for the idea.

@@wizardofcog your understanding of science is flawed. It takes a lot of repetition for science to become established theory. The Meyers-Briggs hypothesis failed to establish itself with testable results. Also, Carl Jung's works are pretty much all debunked at this point.

ENTJ is a Myer-Briggs personality type. Myer-Briggs is a boiled down interpretation of Carl Jung's Psychological Types. It asssumes there are 16 personalities that humans can be categorised into, however it is not a complete science, but a good starting point for people wanting to explore cognitive behaviour.

Matt's ENTJ but Alejandro is an INFJ..😂 again.. Myers-Briggs Test been discredited 100x an sounds like astrology "oh you're a Sagittarius so you're this or that" ..complete nonsense! if you're film analysis was strictly about the film and characters minus that personality type bogus nonsense maybe more views.

If you're going to use the acronym ENTJ in the title of the video and every 45 seconds, maybe it's a good idea to define what the acronym ENTJ stands for, otherwise it just comes off as dramatics, annoying and obnoxious all at the same time, and for no good reason.
