All of my life I was this way, and Frankly, I hated it, lol. I made promises to myself not to do it next time, I never get to keep them. I used to think this is called lazyness, now I know this actually has a reason as to why it happens. It's the blind Si. I find no meaning in practicalities of the presence cut the world of there is soooo interesting and everything needs to be explored, so watching an interesting documentary or debating with someone on the internet is way more interesting and valueable than being fully present to right now and getting ready, wasting all this valuable time, lol.

@BillyBob-lt5nr4 жыл бұрын
It happens so much to me I wonder if it's almost like the dissability that forces ENTPs to train Ne. Examples: I never seem to have a pen at school, so I learned to map concepts in stead of taking notes. I forgot one of the tools I needed (every time I use tools), so I improvise one with the ones I did bring or something else within reach... Si fails so Ne gets exercised more than for the average person. Like the way blind people need to be much more attentive listeners.

When we ENTPs design something, if we finish it, it’s outstanding. So finish.

I've always conceptualized my Si as an anchor, but viewed that as a positive thing, it's the easiest major growth point for the ENTP that will have huge positive returns. It's great to have our head in the clouds as long as our feet remain firmly planted on the ground. Si can be that much needed anchor that keeps our feet on the ground.

Thank you soo much for this excellently short, full of content and very well put together ENTP video!! I soo enjoyed it and I'm very very much agreeable with everything you said about us, female ENTP here. I'm surprised that as .. a typical lazy and very impatient at times typical ENTP I did not have to speed up the video, I sat and sucked all the knowledge and every single world constructing sentences in your speech, I didn't even get bored for a single second here, lol. I like talking fast, going to the next thing fast, yet though being sure I'm making sense and what I'm saying is full of content, and I really appreciate it when I see people doing that as well, your speed of speech but also how clear, structured and full of content your speech was. I enjoyed this and understood perfectly what you were saying. I will only add that ENTPS truly love to challenge their heads with different perspectives for the sake of learning actually and they are very pragmatic, they want to remain realistic and practical when trying to understand the world but when it comes to imagining and exploring ideas, there they are very theoritical, sadly. Which is to me a huge disadvantage, since life is very practical. We do love and appreciate realism, all things authentic and pragmatism, does that stem from TI? I wonder. I dislike anything unrealistic very much, cuz to me, it has no value, it is a lie and does not apply to reality. Also since I'm very turbulent, a clearly turbulent ENTP, I just find it a great weakness to be able to come up with ideas constantly but being unable to put them in practice. To this, I appreciate very much my J intuitive friends and I try to learn from them. We ENTPS have a lot lot to learn from INTJs and ENTJS as well as INTJs. Especially that J I'm actually very jealous of. Since we do very much remain faithful into contastly progressing and improving, I love to explore and observe carefully how the Js function and I try to get inspired of them. Thank you for this great video!

As an ENTP I believe where there is a will there is a way. As an ENTP before we decide on an idea we will have evaluated many times, bounced it off people, and researched the idea so it’s not haphazardly presented.
@robmangeri7774 жыл бұрын
Ok question for fellow ENTPs. I have an intense need myself to gain new information all the time but I’m usually using it to fill in gaps in a giant map of reality I’m building in my head. It’s also easy and fun for me to quickly build fanciful but believable false realities upon subjective foundations for various reasons but ultimately I am aware of which realities I ACTUALLY accept or I’m pretty sure are correct and those that I am sure or pretty sure are incorrect. For example I am a Christian and that particular foundation greatly affects and challenges an almost immeasurable portion of what I perceive to be the societal status quo. I want to value and understand ideas that I don’t subscribe to because I VALUE PEOPLE not because I necessarily agree with them. SO...... my question is: do any other ENTPs here ALSO hold VERY strong convictions despite your ability to see so many other options and if you can humor me, what are some of them and briefly why? Thank you so much!

I was raised in Christian Science (out of box thinking for Christians), spent 40 yrs with a wandering Jew who passed away and have come to the conclusion that my belief system is my own. I have a live & let live attitude with others, deeply appreciate their beliefs based on their experiences and background and try to have an understanding of their essence.... I thoroughly enjoy deep thinkers and intense involvement in people...always polite & kind to the ordinary, bored with social status bs, etc. I tend to not sit still in my environment, thinking & feeling.... I love my ENTP personality, have embraced it totally and am living a wonderful, full life full of characters, actions and possibilities. Deep convictions of yourself is what grounds you....

I always wonder how I function with MBTI vs the Enneagram. I am ENTP, despite being as Enneatpye 5, actually a Social 5w4. I like the collecting of ideas and suggestions as well as data. In the transportation business I was in, when we had bus driver forums, I wanted to collect 30-40 suggestions. 5 was enough for my assistant. I wanted to sort thru them later with my introverted thinking, always projecting a folksy manner. In the Enneagram world, my drivers were a social totem group. And the 4 wing gave me a heart. So I've tried to use both systems in my career and my private life.

As an ENTP, I appreciate your graphics and off-screen narration. This effort indicates a more professional demeanor and ambition. The exchange of information should be aided by the enlistment of all the senses that can be conjured in the imagination. You have encouraged the use of sight and sound, but how do you let your audience experience the smell of your subject matter? How does the fiery sizzle of descriptive language add to the meat of your message? I am generally appalled by the quality of all KZfaq MBTI presentations, so I do not damn you with faint praise when I acknowledge your bit of extra effort. Good luck, in school!

MBTI tests are not accurate. From experience, they design it around flawed criteria. The one that mostly comes to mind is I vs E, since you can be an I and need people around you to "recharge" and vice-versa. You should look at your cognitive functions, especially how you react under stress, your loops and grips. This is going to be more reliable than those internet tests.
