Real informative cause I don't have a label printer yet I was wondering how I get the tracking for my customers I know when u print out the shipping label or buy it shopify sends the tracking to the customer so thank u I will do that and email the customer there tracking number

So how do you know which tracking numbers go too the specific package ?

they will have the name of the person you are sending the package too by the tracking number

Are you allowed to use colored index cards if not would printer paper work

Bre Featherston im not sure if the color matters but yes printer paper will work just as great i would recommend putting tape over the whole piece of paper tho since printer paper is a little flimsy and could tear easily

You just pay for the shipment, they will provide everything you need once they weigh it and put in the address

you will still have to go to the post office for more stuff. the process is not long they just weight it and give you tracking numbers the only way to prevent from going to the post office for more is to have printed shipping labels with tracking numbers already printed on the label

Vanessa Dadzie its okay. i use big cartel which allows u to enter the tracking numbers manually, shopify and others does this as well. the post office just gives you a receipt with the tracking numbers on it
