A wide variety of things can be done to reduce plastic wastage. Plastic manufacturers will continue to supply plastic while the demand for it remains. Every time we buy food that is wrapped in plastic packaging, (fruit and vegetables for example) we contribute to the demand for that particular type of plastic. We can reduce the demand if we choose to buy loose fruit and vegetables. Independent fruit and veg stores don't use a large amount of plastic. Most of all their fruit and vegetables are sold loose. Another thing we can do to reduce demand on plastic is to buy milk in glass bottles. I buy milk in glass bottles from a local milk delivery company. The price is higher but it's very convenient to have milk and other groceries delivered to your door.

Make sheds that look like mushrooms and hobbits. I want one so bad. I can also use hobbits for my 2 dogs and 17 cats. Think about making waterproof plastic house siding and roofs. Water tanks for home use, beautiful plastic vases and foldable tables.The possibilities are endless

His activities may lock up the plastic for 20, 50, or even 100 years. However, it still exists and will eventually be re-released into the environment when the items that he makes decay. The only long-term solution to the plastic problem is to stop making and using plastic.

With china shutting there boarders to the world with plastic, Why has this not gone global yet and gone into mass production around the world? I'm huge into plastic and would love to run with something like this in Australia but the government want's nothing to do with it. I would think the plastic roof tiles and seating would be amazing and something that should be consider in every country. I see so many people turning waste plastic into fossil fuel and re-using the oils in machinery. Why has this not been researched more and shown to the world? Great video.

Kudos for the development, but anyone processing these plastics need to wear protective respirators or face long-term respiratory and other health problems. While plastic are problematic, when in left as plastics, their carbon is trapped. Melting releases the carbon back into the atmosphere.
