I always get excited when I see you have posted a new video! Another beautiful cup and keychain! Do you have to put the foil on the laser waterslide RIGHT after you print it or can you wait a while? Can I use a printer/copier?

Hi! Thank you. You can only do laser, and I usually do the foil after I print, so not sure if you can wait? Doesn’t me you can’t, I just haven’t so I’m not sure!

Great job on the seam! Thanks for the tips on the waterslide. I'm still struggling to get it to work, after trying many things. I ordered a Minc machine, so I can have better control of the temperature, plus it has 4 rollers. I ordered a different toner, I have a few brands of waterslide paper, and several different toner foils (and I ordered some from Southern Belle Glitter - will be here Monday). Hopefully, I'll get it to work soon. It looks so awesome.

I struggle too. Do you think it’s the laminator? I use a regular one not a minc. I’ve tried all the waterslide papers and all the foils. Only thing I haven’t done is buy a minc…. Would love to know if it worked for you!

Hi there! Is there a way you could go into more detail about how you created the water slide decals? This is probably dumb but did you use the cricut to cut out the foil or vinyl first, then put it through the laminator? Or is the cricut not used at all? I hope that makes sense! Clever way to hide the seam! Sometimes I cut part of the design out of my scraps to place over and hide the seams, it works.. But on pattern vinyl like the one you used your cover was perfect. I'm going to try this method. As always your work is to be envied...

I bought the waterslide paper, the foil, the transfer folders and the laminator all from your recommended/Amazon links and tried using your method. Not sure what I missed in your tutorial or products but it did nothing but foil the entire sheet of waterslide paper. What did I miss? Are these the exact products you use? I don't understand why yours are perfect and I can't reproduce it using your method. Any tips?

I need help!!! Lol. I’ve tried the hack but the foil is literally sticking to the entire water slide and not just the laser. Help!!! I’m using Hayes water slide for laser and a brother laser printer. What am I doing wrong?? I tested it on plain paper and it works perfectly

Hi! You may be using too much heat! You’ll need to experiment with how many times you laminate to get the sweet spot! Some need two runs through the laminator, and others only once!

@@VMDDesigns I used it on 5mil. I did also use the inkjet method. But I am going to give the laser paper one more try on 3mil and see if this is the one. Thank you so much!!!!
