I'm always impressed by how few "tools" etc. that you need to make your projects. New journal makers and crafters should take a clue, unlike some of us (me) who must have so much stuff and huge areas to work with. It takes so much time effort and money to keep it all organized.

I do agree that sometimes trying to be adventurous/eclectic can end up being gaudy, it’s a very fine line. You never know when to try it. I love making pouches of all kinds and forgot about those envelopes. I usually use large junk mail envelopes or Amazon packaging. I need to make some of these, brilliant idea and perfect! Your critique of that poor little old lady in your picture is cracking me up. But you’re not wrong lol she is pretty pitiful looking… although she probably has a great back story!, 😂 I am currently working on re-purposing an Alice in Wonderland little golden book into a little colorful junk journal for my sweet white rabbit Alice lol.

No one ever shows beginners like me how to print papers or what kind of printer and paper quality they should use. I just don't know how to do these things 😢

Problem is all printers are different and papers react different to each printer . I have an eoson eco tank and I've found koala presentation paper gives me the best results . As for the actual printing there's usually a tutorial on you tube that shows you how use your specific printer . Good luck

Thank you, it's just so rare to see a video that shows the whole process of printing digital files. It's all printed out ready to go most of the time and there's not much discussion on what weight of paper or card to use @CraftingNannie

@@cobwebsandcatnip i use 120 gsm for normal pages and 180 gsm for when I want heavier prints . My printer won't print above 200 gsm, I wish it did but I just glue two pages together if I need a heavier weight,
