It’s fucking incredible! Just like that awesome Cry For You bootleg live version, it’s better than what he put down on the record. Amazing sound too especially since the sound isn’t from the board! You can hear the bartender collecting bottles in the back lol!

@Braxton Nibley I know there are a lot of copy cats out there but not Andy. Of course he is influenced by EJ but so is Joe Bonamassa. Andy also has a bit of Jeff Beck in him. Andy is not one of those typical shredders but incredibly versatile and always has an incredible tone and his Beatles covers are amazing. Besides that he is a very humble and funny guy.

Agreed. I normally hate recording or using my phone during concerts, but I wasn't sure when I would get to see him again live.. If ever. He doesn't tour in my area often. Somehow I captured this magic with no distortion or crappy quality.

He absolutely is, been in the scene since the early 90s (atleast thats as early as I know of). Guy is an absolute monster of a player and a legend, no doubt. Look up some of his live performances of Cry For You if you haven't seen them.

Who the heck has disliked this live?!? This is a ultimately incredible live that just makes your open your jaw and gets you goosebumps especially from the second verse 4:00 where he does the harmonics thing and improvises to the end. There's no such thing as this.

@@vitorisaia It’s ridiculous! Most guys could spend years trying to compose something this good while Andy can do it on the fly! IMO these skills can’t be taught. You either naturally have this ability to feel the music like this or you don’t no matter how much you practice. But that’s ok! This isn’t a sport. We can only do the best we can and admire greatness whenever and wherever we see it.

Saw him a few years back in Dallas at a guitar show and he played this song. If I remember right it was right before the album came out. It was incredible. My younger brother actually got to sit down and talk to him at a little thing he was doing at a music store a year or so later and said he's one of the nicest guys my brother has ever met.

I keep hearing what a nice guy he is. The time I met him at a clinic he wasn’t so nice. I just said that was an amazing gig and he gave this nasty look. Oddly enough he was going on about how Malmstein had turned his back on him when he had said the same thing during the clinic. At the time I just thought he was a prat but everyone keeps saying how nice he is. Maybe I caught him at a bad moment. Anyway great guitarist.

Andy Timmons has made a name for himself and in my humble opinion he did it by focusing more on what he's playing than how he's playing it. That took him - an excellent guitar player out of the pond full of excellent guitar players and gave him place that's all his own. The videos I've seen he seems like one of those guys who's hard not to like - so nicely done Andy Timmons
