What I've taken note of is that SHE is the ONE who is SO supportive of her MIL. She is respectful in following all her directions and advice with food even though she's a skilled cook herself. She takes the back seat & makes her MIL the important one who she takes direction from. It's a beautiful thing.

Spicy cold buckwheat noodles are called bibim makguksu in Korean and it's super delicious! Nengmyeon is made with more starchy thin noodles.

Yes! If I may, the naengmyeon noodles that I've worked with still contain buckwheat but have a lower concentration of buckwheat compared to makguksu. Reminds me of that food wars episode with soba hahaha

@EZ The packet she is holding at 0:08 says 메밀 (buckwheat) so it could be anything (of the different variations)! I do not think a complete correction is needed, rather a discussion regarding different types of noodles.

This is rapidly becoming my favourite food channel on YT….. the food is amazing but I love the interactions with the kids! This is what life looks like for most mothers! Trying to make food for everyone with a baby on one hip and a toddler asking to have their backside wiped 😂 Or hearing the kids causing absolute bedlam in the background and since they are screaming they are still breathing and can wait 30 seconds for you to finish something! I’m not sure if Americans have a similar phrase but we talk about being really busy and having more responsibilities piled on top as “should I stick a brush up my a*** and sweep at the same time?” I’m pretty sure there’s some a*** sweeping going on here!
