This just really goes to show we need more adults in kpop. We all love the new gen idols, but in reality - this is the level of charisma and power that comes with age. We would also be getting bigger variety of concepts because they are women - not girls. POWERFUL legendary - love the fact that you hear them sing live ♥

Indeed! Look at 2PM. They were charismatic then but the charisma they have now has been amplified. I can’t think of any other male group having that impact.

Yes omg why is the industry robbing us of this?? It's so good?? I had gotten so used to the sweet, squeaky chipmunk voices, but THIS is what it should sound like! I feel like with real women like this, kpop can reach its full potential!

Im living for this. The industry of kpop would be so much more celebrated and hyped if it was older idols. Their voices are like fine wine and their stage presence is incomparable tbh. SO charismatic and epic.

@@lokmankim9112they have good vocal skills, but SM mostly let them lipsync on perfomances. Also ever heard Live AR? They pre recorded their 'live singing' then play it as back music as if they sing live. Just listen their MR removed videos, you could hear the differences between the music stage perfomance and encore stage. The encore stage is their original live voice, while the perfomance is too 'perfectly identical' as their CD. Even IU and BTS sound a lil bit different while sing live.

they all did so well but omg Kahi really caught my eyes. she's really like what everyone said "she's on the next level". the charisma and confidence she exudes with the dance and gaze is so powerful. they're all hot mamas

I wasn't really familiar with her until I watched Mama the Idol but man the way she moves my eyes are GLUED to her.. I keep rewatching this just to see her dance.. she's better than dancers I've seen who are half her age.. >_

에스파는 진짜 좋겠다,,과거 화려했던 선배들이 자신의 곡을 피땀흘려 춤과 라이브로 선사해줘서 원곡만큼이나 화려하고,,짧은시간 준비하신건데 굉장히 완성도가 높네요,,,감동입니다 다들 고생많으셨어요,,진짜 말그대로 완전체네요 한팀인것같아요:)

What I love about this is that they emanate character. All of them has different vibes and shine unlike the newer ggs nowadays where everyone looks identically perfect and can do everything almost perfectly.

I hope stages like this inspire the current generation to perform live more often. Some of these ladies aren't even formally trained idols to my knowledge and they still all showed a great performance!

I think they are trained and some of them are singers like byul. Most idol can sing live (i guess maybe 20% can perform live reallly well while dancing hardddd) but most of the time they did AR to have "perfect" performances.

@@7hz8 two of them are soloist who never dance in their life on stage. So yeah, its their first time dancing while singing live and that is what amusing. The fact that those two can dance like an idol and sing live is such a chef's kiss

because this is how aespa would actually sound even at best result without pre-recording 😬 (kpop stans rip into idols for even sounding like kahi and the mamadol group do because it isn't perfect enough)

여돌중에는 메인 보컬이 없는(?) 셈인 그룹도 많은데, 6인조 그룹에서 저 정도 티어의 메인 보컬을 3명을 보유한 여자 그룹은 정말 너무 화력이 강하네요. 한 명이 너무 독보적으로 높은 티어도 아니고 세 보컬이 균등해서 더 탄탄하게 느껴지네요.

처음엔 가희님이랑 선예님 때문에 보기 시작했는데 점점 현쥬니님이 눈에 들어옴ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 완전 매력 부자.. 지금 현역 아이돌이셨으면 딱 덕후몰이하실 상임. 이 무대에서도 가희님은 진짜 여전사 같으시고 멋있는데 별님도 엄청 잘하셨음❤️

They spent years, even decades training as teenagers to young adults. I LOVE seeing them coming back and showcasing they didn't lose any of the talent they worked so hard for after becoming moms. They're so powerful, I can't take my eyes off them. I am so happy to see Kahi and Sunye again, they were my favs! This is AMAZING and I want to see more!

단발언니는 배우/락가수 현쥬니예요! 사실 성대결절에 당한 사람인데 진짜 그걸 넘어서 노래를 되게 잘해요. 원래도 춤을 못하는 사람이었고 가희한테 2회/3회에서 트레이닝을 받아서 너무 잘해요.

Everytime I watch Kahi-nim perform on stage I always get teary eyed, goosebumps all over my body becoz I couldn't believe I'm watching her as an adult now. My biggest inspiration since childhood. I am just so so proud of her. I love you so much Ms. Kahi ! You mean the world to me!!

개인적으로는 단발 머리분(현주니님?)께서 노래 컨셉이랑 너무 잘 어울리셔서 계속 눈길이 가는 것 같아요~ 3:12 단독 파트부터 가희님이랑 랩 주고 받는 파트까지가 제일 좋아요!

I'm so happy to see Eunji back on stage! She was a great performer in Baby Vox, but her group was mismanaged and her time as an idol was too short. She is finally getting to show the world what she can do! I hope some other mom-idols get to come back! Park Sori was also in her group, and I know she is mother as well! It would be so nice to see these two reunite!

ㄹㅇ 선예 인간제와피임....이게 찐 소리반공기반....춤도 잘추고 노래도 안정적이고 컨셉소화력도 장난아니고 매력적이기까지함ㅋㅋㅋㅋ제와피가 만들고자 했던 아티스트의 이상향은 남자는 비, 여자는 선예가 아니었을까

엄마는 아이돌에서 선예의 퍼포먼스를 보면서 '꾸준히 활동했더라면 SM의 보아와 견줄 포지션에 있지 않았을까'라는 생각이 드네요.

그쵸.. 요즘 아이돌은 뭔가 잘못 생각하는 거 같은데 예쁘고 잘생겼다고 차지할 수 있는 센터가 아니고 노래만 잘한다고 차지할 수 있는 메보가 아니죠(메보,센터 모두 노래,춤,비쥬얼등 멀티플이어야 된다는..)

The fact that they absolutely ate aespa up performance-wise when it isn't even their own song is kind of sad. They absolutely commanded the stage and weren't afraid to hide their voices through lipsync or heavy backtrack and quiet mic - you could clearly hear them the whole time. I know it's not aespa's decision so I'm not dragging the girls, but SM really needs to let them sing LIVE - not lipsync, not prerecorded vocals, but LIVE - and their performances would already be ten times better. Live singing just makes any performance feel more real, which is what people like performances for. You can hear the perfect autotuned vocals any time you play an mp3, but live vocals with human error are what make performances.

this is proof that Aespa never or rarely sings live, because this is how live is supposed to sound, not the prerecorded voices they try to pass as live

This performance is better than aespa. From vocal, dance, and stage presence. They can all sing live, can hit the high notes easily and not sounds like strained voice. I'm not hating aespa but the way ningning hitting the high notes is not good, it hurts to hear and ningning also straining her vocal chords

Too bad nowadays it’s all about looking perfect on stage (also they have hard choreography) and we rarely get to see them sing live WITH dancing. And I think a lot of fans are clueless about this because there is a difference between pre record and live

@@Julesclues2 all live performances have pre record playing, the thing is which is more louder, the pre record voice or the live voice. Only the main vocal or lead vocal will get the high notes and sing louder than the background/pre record. Other members just using lipsync or almost unheard voice of them. Only mamamoo can slay on live i think

Just started watching their journey on tvn n seeing their tears, sweat and hard work to create a niche of their own is commendable I hope they just don’t end here with the reality show but some how manage to form n keep their group. When they cry we cry when they laugh we do, they are such a big inspiration to all us ladies in the hood of marriage and kids life certainly stops and here they show us the courage to break the shell n follow the dreams so really it’s an inspirational journey which should not end with just one show. Kudos to tvn channel for such a gift to us. Cheers to #mamadoll. You ladies are eye candies with the strength n stamina of tiger mama’s. Keep shining…fighting 💕👌🏻💪
