This is the story of Celestine Gachuhi, a Kenyan actress, singer and motivational speaker. She is a household name in East Africa, well known for her role as ‘Selina’ in Maisha Magic East's Telenovela, SELINA. Her effortlessly chilled, resilient and fun-loving personality has won her a legion of fans mostly in Kenya and Tanzania over the years. Her music stage name is "Cee."
This channel is for my Kikuyu audience as I have been on vernacular TV for some time now and I'm glad I get to launch a KZfaq show in my first language that I love and I'm eloquent in.
The channel is called Gìikaro Na Nonsizi Wa Ng’ethe which is a Kikuyu name that translates to ‘A Sit Down with Nonsizi Ng’ethe’. I began the show in early 2020 at the onset of the covid-19 pandemic but we took a break after a few months to strategize and come back big and better. The weekly show will be tackling a wide variety of societal issues like career, financial literacy, mental wellness, relationships and entertainment.
