At age 92, I think it's funny to hear people in their 40s talk about looking young. They ARE young...❤ This week I was told that I look 30 years younger and I reminded them that YOUNGER is actually my middle name. Even now, at 92, I'm learning an editing program and will post videos. Learning new things keeps me going and staying youthful. Suscribe to stay in touch.

I cannot believe she is telling people tanning beds are ok to use. And I would like to see the ingredients of that "nourishing" spray tan, that she has been using for herself. She is talking a lot about taking care of the physical body, sleeping, eating, and the products she is using . Not a lot about the importance of our emotional and mental state. Sense of belonging , friendships and people we surround ourselves with. One of the reasons why people in those "blue zones" are living longer is also because of the healthy communities they are part of. Very superficial advise from this lady.

I would have to agree with you, having read The Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. He mentioned a group of Italian Americans thriving in their own community despite rich food, alcohol and smoking. If the odd one relocated they died much earlier than the ones who remained. Bottom line, having love and support and family and faith had tremendous benefits that can't be bottled and sold.😊

My great grandmother, who died Jan 2022 at 108, didnt look decades younger than her actual age but my mother recalls, she was ill once in her memory. I always attributed her health to her attitude. She worked all of her life, even when she stopped traditional work, she kept busy and had a young spirit. I intend to maintain the aesthetics but focus more on a positive spirit and giving back.

If a woman is not going through hormonal changes yet, menopause, perimenopause she can still look quite young. Once the hormones start changing it gets more challenging I'd say. Especially if not taking supplements, taking care of diet, excercise, good sleep or taking hormone replacement.

I agree. I’m 43 and this woman clearly looks her age, as do I. And there’s nothing wrong with that. We think it’s a compliment when people say we look younger than our age, but it’s really not. It just perpetuates the idea that being older is somehow a bad thing. There’s nothing wrong with looking your age, because that’s literally reality.

Avoiding stress and inflammation are the most important factors in health and aging. I'm in my mid fifties and I look and feel like I'm in my 30's/40's. I always recommend following the *7 holistic health needs* : 1) Moving every day, several times a day (and building muscle) 2) Nutrient rich food, 3) Sound sleep, 4) Inner peace (meditation, affirmations, morning/evening routines, dealing with our trauma), 5) Deep connection with others, 6) Sync with nature, 7) Sense of purpose. 4 to 7 is really helpful for mental health and finding joy. I love Mindvalley and Vishen always bringing goodness for all ! Love and light to all 💗✨.

@@Manifesting_Secret_Sketchbook You can build muscle easily by picking up heavy objects around the house, a little bit every day, a little heavier as you get stronger. You could also do wall & stairs push ups (you can start on the lowest stairs at first and go higher as you build strength.). For thighs, I like to do squats all over the house lol! Walking around and squatting up and down. Yoga also is amazing and if you have access to a gym, there are lots of machines, activating muscles up to a thousand ways. Make sure you eat a good amount of proteins. Congrats on bettering your wellness journey! Shine your light bright 🫶

So true about our mental state and emotional state, myself was very low and had a lot of anxiety for many years due to a brain injury I have and because of our stress like my ex who mentally abused me for many years and fatigue after the brain injury. Then I found videos here on KZfaq about meditation and started to try it out did some guided meditations every day and in a month I felt better. I do some kind of meditation almost every day and I don’t h have anxiety anymore I feel better inside and even though I have chronic pain/ fatigue and migraines that comes every month I love my life I feel happy I am grateful and see positive on most things. I also know people who have lots of anxiety and also hypochondriac who are not happy in life, he only talk negative about things and he has a lot of pains because of this. When I see him I don’t feel good he’s energy is definitely rubbing of and he has trouble to taking advice how to change his life, it’s like talking to a wall. I have a family member who also is very negative watching the news a lot and melting in to the negative things they talking about. I have a hard time spending time with her also. I have always been open to energy and feeling seeing stuff also very sensitive as a person so I have to thing about what I let in and who I let in. It’s hard when it’s people who I have to see like my daughters father or family. I can see how unhappy they are and even if I want to help they are not open for it and it makes me sad because I know how much it helped me. But I think that mental state emotional state and people around us is very important. Nowadays I feel happy for the most time I often sing for myself and are open to learning more about taking care of myself 😊

Great interview. I just looked at her on Instagram and she looks even younger like 26-28 in some photos and videos. I’m 40 and I get 29 all the time (in real life). But I don’t think how I look online reflects this…online isn’t always the best way to predict a person’s age as someone can look taller, shorter, younger, bigger, smaller than how they look in real life. I have met a lot of celebrities and I’ve been amazed by how much taller/shorter/thinner etc they look in real life compared to how they look on TV. I think it’s amazing that her biological age is 29 what an achievement.

Thanks for this video!! I have a proactive aging channel here on KZfaq. I appreciate the discussion and will research the recommended products for my own use and review for my subscribers. I think that healthy aging can be done proactively, meaning that one shouldn't wait for the body to start breaking down before making attempts to stay healthy. Good looks are associated with youth because youth is the time before all the negative effects of aging start. If looking great is a sign of youth, it's because people take care of themselves proactively to reduce the negative signs of aging. Of course there is nothing wrong with aging. The challenge is to do so in a fashion that promotes longevity, vitality, and a healthy attitude toward life. I think this woman looks fabulous however old she is. Confidence goes a long way in promoting a great appearance too.

It is well documented that early morning sunlight is extremely good for the bodies and a lot of problems of current generation are related to late nights, getting up late in the morning and very less exposure to Sun light. Yes 5 AM club is not for everyone because it requires tremendous self discipline.

I always promote off peak sunlight as a natural way to get the Vit d levels up, but in many cases, and it many countries, this isn’t always feasible. Do not generalize, everyone is different, skin tone, genetics, environmental factors, diet, habits, lifestyle etc.

1)People need to approach Retinol with caution. DO NOT use it daily when you first start and you’ll need to use a gentler one. Use once a week at night for 3 months or so and gradually increase to twice a week. If you have very sensitive skin, buffer it like a sandwich. Use à moisturizer first and then, retinol. Always use a sunscreen in the daytime to prevent hyperpigmentation. I’ve been using Retin A since my mid twenties and never had any issues because I had a fantastic dermatologist when I first started. I’m in my 50s btw 2)Tanning beds are NOT ok!!! Always use an SPF even when you’re indoors. Use an SPF 50 when the sun is strong and spf 30 during colder months. 3) Please watch Dr Shereene Idriss for more tips

His approach is through diet and lifestyle changes. I learned before that vitamins on skin products are not effective as how the body uses them is not the same as when they are being eaten and getting absorbed. What you eat will show in your skin.

I am naturally brunette and tanned woman, that grew up in Brazil, and because we have hot sun there all day round, we dont like to spend hours sunbathing, we always try to "walk in the shade". But after moving to Scotland, Sun is rare here and people are obsessed in sunbathing whenever Sun is shining. I got obsessed too, neglecting sun protection for 3 years. Small freakles poped on my nose. For 2 months I've been careful with sun again, due to have started using retinol. Im lucky to have my mom's good genes, strong skin that didnt damage too much these past 3 years of neglect tho.

With regard to point #3, I wish more people would talk about the fact that MILLIONS of people react terribly to retinol. It causes acne breakouts with men and women. It’s brutal. And creates more dark spots from the acne scars. It puts you into a vicious cycle, because then you need to treat the new pigmentation spots/scars caused by the retinol. Recommendations about retinol should also come with a disclaimer about this.

I appreciate the conversation as there is always something new to learn. However her generalized acceptance of tanning beds and resveratrol seems outdated. New research has recently called into question the benefit of resveratrol - with the argument being that resveratrol is incapable of activating sirtuin-1 in humans, so there's no reliable data for it's benefits. Tanning beds may be beneficial to a degree but like drinking wine to get resveratrol, are the benefits worth the risk, as we know they can cause skin cancer. Devices like tanning beds and sun lamps can emit higher amounts of ultraviolet radiation than the sun, including both UVA and UVB radiation. Not totally impressed with this conversation. There are plenty of active scientists and researches sharing up to date info on KZfaq.

The numbers that are placed on us are just about as important as our credit score for crying out loud. It’s of false importance. It doesn’t really mean much or say anything about a person . The focus shouldn’t be on her age. It should just simply be on her beauty and how healthy and beautiful she looks, and obviously is doing the right things to take care of herself. I look younger for my age, I have not lead a healthy lifestyle 😂 however, I been avoiding the sun like there is no tomorrow since age 18 and been using anti aging creams since my early 20's so I tell everyone to stay away from the sun!😂😂 Wear hats, sunglasses, stay in the shade wear 100spf lol
