At the time, he made a BIG decision to leave acting, a field in which he studied and majored on, and to focus on how to be the best idol. He, definitely had thought about it countless times, wishing that he wouldn't have to regret it in the future. I think raising Jungkook and helping his other 5 members was a good escape for him. Jungkook may have not realised that he was helping him to heal at that time. We can definitely realise that Kidoh was an important factor in Seokjin's life and heavily influenced it.

I didn't know the depth of friendship between Jin and Kidoh and how it affected them then on or how it changed the group they were in. I really wish I had known Kidoh before. I am a Jin bias so I love him a lot seeing this video I couldn't control myself from writing what I have always felt and only talked to my best friend who is a Jin bias too . Pls I am not spreading hate for other members nor I hate other members its just that I love Jin a lot . I actually really sometimes feel that Jin is the loneliest member . I first though that maybe I was over thinking but then i saw Bon Voyage 4 . Many people like bv4 but honestly for me it is like a bad memory . In the first few episodes Jin is always trying to blend with them but you can clearly see how he is alone . He was left out . I believe the members still don't understand Jin . It has been 8 years + pre debut years but he has still not opened up with members . Even in the letter he wrote for Abyss he wrote how some people helped him overcome his burn out but he never mentioned the members . After his bday vlive where he tells how less bday wishes he received I don't think he has friends outside bts also to which he tells all he emotion... I can't do anything for him so I just keep on praying that may there be atleast one friend or he finds atleast one friend who he can cry to and who he can share even his dark side with . Thanks for letting me know more about Jin. I thought I knew a lot about him but i'm probably not. I like all of relationships BTS Taejin, Jikook, Vmin, 2seok, Taekook Namjin Sin etc because everyone really supports and loves each other and each relationship has its own something special. But Jinkook was always special to me always. They seemed to fight and play all the time, but they were actually comfortable person to each other like home. Even if Hyosang/Jin was a ship rather than an actual romantic pair, given the high value Jin places on friendships, it's clear to see how affected he could become. I think it's interesting that Ken/Sandeul are such a contrast to the kind of person Hyosang was. Baro as well. 6. Now you have me hanging off your every video. Jin is such a complex person. He's for all intent and purposes the human version of gummy bears from the outside. A ballad and love song loving vocalist. Yet his closest friends are hardcore rappers. Thank you for another deep in-depth history of Jin. I believe Jungkook's innocence helped Jin "start over" in a sense to connect with someone worthy. Jungkook's early crush on Jin may have also influenced Jin's attributes to his character and personality. It's a unique thing to see how they (Jinkook) show importance to each other. You only have to see the obvious hidden by humor and playful actions.

Jin losing Jin Hyosang, which whom his closest, his best of best friend, really made Jin so reserved but still socially open. In BTS' early days, Jin faced a lot of struggles, Hyosang is probably the only one that understands him very well, and with him leaving the group, Jin was heartbroken, to the point where after they debuted, Jin's been shy and awkward since Hyosang and him relied on each other. And that's, with the help of JK, when he started healing Jin. JK supported him throughout the years, he's been a big part of Seokjin's life. They developed a bond that no one could ever break. Thankfully, now, they have each other.

Maybe I should mention what ( from my POV) helped a lot to change the attitude towards homosexuality in my country. The womens movement!! We had a strong womens movement since the 1970ies. Women look at sexuality different from "classical" men and are far more likely to accept different forms of relationships. I wonder whether there is a womens movement in Korea. When Jin says he is not gay, I think it could be true. He just happens to be in love with Jungkook. Given different circumstances he might be in love with a woman (?) There are people who only fall in love with same sex partners, but others who are "bi". He might be one of them. I certainly am. Interesting point when it comes to the "grooming" narrative, don't you think?

I am sad and sorry you still have to fight for things which seem normal for me. But I am also aware I live in a "bubble" even in my own country. I have known gay couples from childhood on ( I am 75 now), interestingly not so many lesbian couples. I am not saying it is easy to be homosexual, but at least same sex couples can marry and adopt children in my country now. And politicians and people in the entertainment industry can be openly gay/lesbian. I think it took about 20 to 25 years for the final changes and there is always the danger of falling back to the "old ways". I do sincerely hope it will not take such a long time in your country. I am pleased you show the many facets of homosexuality and the fluidity of sexual attractions. Of course I know from my own experience. No, the world is definitely not what I want it to be and the ridiculous attitude to homosexuality is unfortunately only part of it.
