Padma my heart is full of joy seeing someone from ladak enjoying kerala. we are from 2 the extreme ends of a country who's borders where drawn by a British man less than 100 years ago. Do not let anyone force you into thinking your culture and language is secondary to hindi or mainland indian culture. As indians, accepting and enjoying the diversity in our country is what makes us interesting and beautiful. I hope ladak soon receives full state status. Enjoy your second home kerala :)

Thali is not a dish it's a way of serving food like buffet. It can be sadhya, virundhu or may be anything. all different varieties of food served in a single platter considered thali. Sadhya is also called banana leaf thali

If it served with lots of different dishes. Thali = not a meal Buffet = not a meal It's a way of serving.
