The Mojave Road is one of North America’s most iconic Overland routes. Stretching 135 miles over the desert it will take us 2 to 3 days to complete. Here lies the beginning of our adventure. We will visit many historic sites and navigate over this rugged terrain. Stopping at every interesting spot along the way. We weren’t sure what lied ahead, but that made the adventure even more exciting and of course we were up for the challenge. Four-wheel-drive and high clearance vehicles are highly recommended to complete the entire trail. Road conditions can change very quickly, and may be rough, sandy or extremely muddy, making them impassible. Join us for day one of our adventure on the Mojave road.

Oh man, bummer to see that campsite around 11 minutes got burnt up. I stayed there maybe 3 years ago and it was beautiful. I hope it grows back as beautiful as ever.

Just spent this past weekend at the Preserve and traveled the Mojave road in a stock T4R TRD Off-road for a portion between the lava tubes and hole-in-the-wall. Had a blast! Thanks for sharing your journey on the Mojave road, I’d love to go back and travel more of the Mojave Road 🤠🤙

Man it breaks my heart that the campsite burnt down. Just camped there last year and it was such a beautiful spot, one of the real treasures along this route. It will take a lifetime for that spot to recover. Great video Jonny.

I have to ask when were you guys out there as I have it planned to do the Mojave Road March 25 starting at the AVI Cassino. Myself and about 6 other rigs are planning to camp where you guys did and wondering how all the trail conditions were. I keep checking with Mojave National Preserve and they say showing on their map that there is a detour around Fort Piute and Soda dry lake is now passable.....Juschecking in on the latest & greatest trail conditions.

Great video. The N-95 masks were for cleaning the cabin. Wear them and spray bleach and water before cleaning to prevent you from getting Hantavirus from the dear mice droppings.
