Let's rewind time. Those were the best days. I was not aware that Saurav Ganguly denied to be 12 man and hence early retirement. But it was a great show. Selectors like Shukla don't know the difference between Football and Cricket matches.

Actually it was Dalmiya era when BCCI started shaping up as a cricketing superpower . Now BCCI is the richest board and fully dictates the ICC, he deserves a lot of credit for that. As an administrator he marketed cricket so well , that even now people remember him for the same. Only if other sports bodies had administrators like him.
