I totally agree with Ictus, I purchased the full range of courses only just over a week ago and the exercises in the courses are worth so much more than the cost of them, in fact for a dedicated long term singer, the course is priceless. I promise this to anyone, you will not be disappointed with this valuable resource, I have already improved so much more because of it thanks to Justin's dedication and hard work. amazing I studied voice for almost 10 years...the way you phrase things is really helpful It's easy to understand techniques that are sometimes ambiguous You helped me understand some things that my teachers never really explained about the larynx and keeping the larynx low I now use your explanations to help my students

Thank you very much. I have always been unsure if I could sing well, and so I didn't, I just shut up and played my guitar. I have played guitar for around 47 years, so of course I do sing, but not in front of people... much. So today after going though your vocal exercises, I think I can! I like your presentation style, it takes the pressure off, humorous colour. I subscribed.

What awesome changes in this episode... composition, lighting, sound, new intro, new promotion section, a new voice in the video, 4K crops, pans... maaaan, this is, um... no words! I finnaly watched all 101 episodes... I started 4 weeks ago in ep.1 today I'm on 101. I'll rewatch them all, take notes and practice more and then show you the video of before and after.

Justin, thank you SO MUCH for your valuable expertise on this subject. "NG" truly is the king of all vocal exercises! With some conscious thought as to keeping my resonance in that position (which, hopefully, will become more automatic with lots more practice), I can - in seconds - solve so many issues I have: evenness of tone (with that beautiful, bright "ping" sound we all crave), much easier navigation of my primo passaggio (which is usually the bane of my existence), and even much greater ease breathing with the ability to extend phrases due to better use of air. For any students of voice that work hard and really find themselves continuing to struggle with little things (like I have for so long), I really believe this exercise to be a game-changer!

Omg I watched all episodes, what an amazing journey :) I remember around 6 months ago when I randomly came up on this video and clicked out of curiosity. I never sang before and didn't have a clue that the voice is this amazing instrument everyone's packed with and that can grow and improve. I heard for the first time terms like jaw, tongue, nasal resonance, larynx, breath and on and on and I got so intrigued that I just had to give it a try and since then I'm singing and practicing everyday, I'm totally addicted ahah! Also, this series of voice lessons to the world + the vocal course is just the best combination, I'm on the intermediate level around level 5. There's a lot of stuff I have yet to figure out but I'm so thrilled of this new instrument, and anyway I feel like I'm ready to do some lesson with some of you teachers. I've already written some songs :D Also I haven't touch a single cigarette since the beginning of this journey, it feels amazing and I'm so grateful. Keep up the good work guys. One question about this episode tho: isn't the ng exercise equal to singing trough the nose?

After resisting the NG drill for quite a while, I am now trying it. Shifting to Ahhhhh from NG does help getting everything positioned for the right amount of nasal resonance. You are right on! Had lessons in years past. Trying to get back in vocal shape. Thanks.

Normally in the past I haven't done the ng exercises with my jazz students, but - I think after watching this video, it could be useful (even though we jazz singers tend to use a wide palette of different tone colors.) Thanks! This was what I was missing from my arsenal! I have a pretty good range but vowels and consonants can kill it. I've been a singer, pianist and musician for 27 years but I've not been practicing vowels as much as I should have been! Time to change that! I've actually started to sing entire choruses and/or verses using vowel techniques only.

You explain things so magically. I used to get so bummed, because when I didn’t understand something, my coach would just repeat the same worded explanation, over and over, which obviously, didn’t help me understand, and frustrated both of us. I really need to understand the science and logic behind what I’m doing, it helps me learn. But she always just said it I would complicate it by trying to understand it. After seeing your videos, I know she was incorrect about me. Your teaching style is the perfect balance between unconsciously building your singing muscle memory, and consciously learning the science behind learning to control your voice, which is exactly what I have been searching for. I’m happy you decided to teach. Aside from you musical talent, You are also blessed with a talent to positively and creatively communicate with others. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit. 🤍🧡

what a surprise to hear it was the NG..I was sure it would be lip trills... Thanks to your teachings Jason, I have , after 10 years of practice, realized the importance of NG... I got it after it was explained to be as being a valid resonator.....
