i love and appreciate this. one of the things about fasting is that often, people will fast incorrectly or not completely. God was talking to his people through isaiah and he told them in isaiah 58:4 that they were fasting for strife and debate. and so often we can end up doing the same thing. but God tells his people the fast that he chooses from verse 5-7 and verses 8-14 he tells them the fruit or the outcome of fasting in this way. how many people when they are fasting are giving bread to the hungry? bringing the poor into their house? covering the naked? God wants us to continue doing what is good while we are afflicting our souls before him. And if we do it like that, we wont have to worry about pride as much when we are IN the fast, because God is working on our attitude as well as our need/desire to/for him. Again in verse 10. Draw out your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted, while you are going through your own affliction, you will increase in love towards God and towards those in affliction. Its hard to have pride when you are fellowshipping with others in their affliction.

Here is the thing however...in the Bible there are times where God asked a question. Therefore there will be times He will ask us a question. It will not always be an exclamation point. The Bible (the absolute authority) shows that is not always the case. Sometimes God will ask us a question to cause us to think about the answer, because God already knows the answer, but we may need the question to cause us to look deeper into the answer.

My sister sent me this video and I’m excited to watch more!! There are so many topics in this that the Lord has been dealing with me in and this served as a confirmation to those things. I pray the Lord blesses this in Jesus name!!

Imaging or visualizing is an effective tool for walking into the will of God. “You’ve got to be willing to fight/war for your prophecies” A comparative passage as to where unbelief becomes a hindrance is when Jesus could not do many miracles in or near His home town because of their unbelief. Power according to purpose.

could you add links to Jonathan & Garrett, as they were really able to keep on topic & focus. The opportunity with Mark Morgan was a solid monumental opportunity; `would look to find out more about him from his answers.

And what (besides chanting in a monotone) qualifies these useless people to advise about God and Jesus? If they really want to impress, let them actually do similar works that Jesus did. (and that Jesus said we should) (And just preaching, human good deeds and schooled abilities like doctoring don't count as "works")

Wow, tell us how you really feel! The question is what are you doing for the kingdom

@@renatocasado8988 "The question is what are you doing for the kingdom" Well, I'm an American. We proudly don't accept kings and kingdoms. Our country was formed by removing the power of a king. So the answer to your question is - I am trying to point out that kingdoms are outmoded, useless, and antithetical to personal growth and responsibility.
