After Jenna Marbles, I can't have but so much respect for someone that has a bunch of mid roll ads a a ton of sponsors in one video that's already getting millions of views. Also the way she talks now compared to 2 years ago... I'm glad she has fun with it but she sounds so different. It makes the story harder to follow.

@@mariakalogiannh7000 Tesla made electrcity more stable with alternating current. Direct current (What Edison used) has more power but is less stable. Rather than loose the race with Tesla his team developed a way to merge the two which is why our modern electricity is measured in AC/DC a combination of alternating and direct currrents.

I highly recommend doing a dark history covering “holy anorexia” and the “Miraculous Maidens”. The entire history of EDs is mind boggling. Several Women gained sainthood for such behaviors despite it being a feminist action against arranged marriages.

They get ad money from google. I pay money every month so I don’t have to see ads and then people start putting them in their own videos. Its garbage! The whole reason for premium is so we don’t have to see them and they still get money for us watching the video as if we watched the ads and they get extra money if a premium buyer watches their entire video. So I will everyday all day be upset when they sneak promotions into their videos. Usually I click off and refuse to watch the video completely. This time I actually just fast forwarded through the promotions. But still… it defeats the purpose of me paying $16 a month to not have to go through that.

Hey Bailey!! I am LOVING Dark History!Someone who I‘d highly recommend looking into is the inventor of the telephone, Alexander Graham Bell, and his huge role in oppressing the Deaf community. Deaf history, community, and the struggles Deaf people encounter every day is something that is highly looked over. Wow, I just suggested that Bailey Please do a story on Nikola Tesla. Then I saw this Comment. Glad to see I’m not the only one that was waiting on the mention of his relationship with Tesla. But, Tesla truly deserves his own entire episode. He was truly a great inventor and wanted the best for mankind but so many people came against him and kept him from accomplishing that because of they’re thirst for money and power! I really hope she does an episode on Nikola Tesla. I know if she checks into it, she’ll fall down that “rabbit hole” and feel compelled to do it, LOL.

I was waiting the whole episode for Nikola Tesla to be mentioned! A little bummed that he wasn't but I figure there's only so much that can be covered in less than an hour plus he deserves his own episode. Tesla is the most fascinating human to have existed to me, and my only true "hero" of a person. His perspectives have changed my life. So much so that I have a portrait of him tattooed on me and it's my biggest and most expensive tattoo to date 😎🥰 I'm pleased to see alot of mention of him in the comments! He’s been my fav scientists since I was very little. I was in about 3rd grade and they had us watch a movie about Edison inventing the light bulb. I complained that he didn’t actually and that this was not a true story.. that we should learn about Nikola Tesla instead. My teachers had no idea on how to deal with me. Haha

The “Topsy the elephant”story would have been interesting here. Edison did profit from the electrocution of an elephant. Their film of the electrocution part was released to be viewed in coin-operated kinetoscopes under the title Electrocuting an Elephant.

Yey, Bailey is back. Side note: Had a dog show up in my back yard yesterday. Finally found her owner, turns out her name is Bailey, and she came from an older woman who Foster's Dogs..long story short, we are adopting Bailey. Yes we are keeping her name as a nod to none other than Bailey Syrian..We had been talking about getting a dog for a while, and then this beauty just showed up...feels like fate to me 💛

That’s what I said, LOL. I commented that Bailey should do a show on Tesla! I think if she checks into it and go down that”RABBIT HOLE” she’ll feel compelled to do it. Especially with all the drama of everybody that tried, and sometimes succeeded, to keep his inventions secret when he wanted to help mankind and all they cared about was money.

As an X-ray tech, I got so excited when you began to mention the history! In school, we learned that Wilhelm Roentgen was the inventor of xrays in 1895 and that Clarence Dally was the first person to die from the effects of excessive radiation and poisoning. The image of Roentgen’s wife’s hand is so iconic. Thank you Bailey!
