I think with the Arcángel comment, I don’t think he realizes is that Mexican artist don’t have to be popular anywhere else, but to Mexicans and Mexican Americans to be a multi platinum selling artist and be recognized. But any other artist from any Latin American country has to be popular elsewhere outside of their country to do that.

Este wey, not every Mexican is from el Norte wey, only norteños listen to rancheras y corridos. Go visit South Mexico, you'll find out not everyone is on corridos/norteñas/rancheras. Disco/Pop/Rock is popping in the cities and then there's rural south Mexico which is on musica Costeño. You got more cumbia/reggaetón down south.

Her music is country music, she visited the largest, most dense city in Mx. Completely different setting, she's also in WA (Lots of rain and many towns). Again she visited a large city which she isn't used to, of course she's going to PROBABLY dislike the city vibes. She didn't like the traffic, the cars honking, the smog, the loud busy streets. Yaritza also didn't "sh!t" on Mexican food, she didn't try/talk about "Carne en su Jugo", "Tortas Ahogadas", "Tlayudas", "Carnitas", "Atole", "Guisados" "Cemitas" and more. Yaritza y su ausencia only ate tacos. Tacos are basic ahh Mexican food, If you're Mexican, you know where to get tacos. They're everywhere, there's more food in Mexico that can represent Mexico, she didn't sh!t on Mexican food because she didn't like one food. Her guitarist said he didn't like spicy food, he prefers fried food. Fried Fish, Fish Chicken, Fried Mozzarella Sticks, Fried Shrimp. Churros are deep fried. His take is more controversial but it's taken out of context. He didn't like spicy food, that's fine, there's more flavors in Mexico. Pescado frito con chile vinagre, repollo vinagre is a common dish along the costeño community. There's sweet and tart flavors too, tamarindo is sweet/bitter/tart. He didn't "sh!t" on Mexican food, he just didn't like spicy food.
