This is the most meaningful component of mental health- understanding trauma. Understanding that your the trauma you experience, no matter how minor reacts the same. Someone who was bullied in high school might have reacted the same as a survivor of a car crash. A survivor of war might have had a similar neurological experience as someone who got broken up with by a girlfriend.
Even though these are not equivalent on a level of physical devastation, our brain registers all trauma the same.
So how do we let it go? Well, the key to mental strength is how easily you can let it go. And the backpack principle is an amazing way to do that.
So In this section we discuss the power of letting things go, the difference between large traumas and microaggressions, and most importantly, the power of forgiveness in mending broke relationships.
We discuss strategies to overcome trauma and help restore your life from burden and burnout to something more light and freeing every day.
