I believe, most of the marriages in India are done with matching the Astrological & Numerical values.... There are lot of incidents of either the Male or female remain unmarried just because the Astrological values don't match. If my memory is correct, earlier too a family from a prominent Bollywood Actors were also superstitious about the Astrology. In this case the female had to tie a kot to a particular tree before marrying the actual person.
