Lots of channels on the Villages now. Each has its own merits, but yours gives week to week updates on homes and current prices. The fact that you include restaurant reviews and golf sure gives people new to the Villages a good idea of what life in the Villages is all about. The craft shows are amazing! We bought several one of a kind paintings at craft shows. Scooples is a hidden treasure. Great video! Great to see more and more subscribers! Means you are showing what people like and need. 👏👏🤗❤️

Jim & I went to Scooples for the first time in May. We got a hot fudge sundae that was awesome! I may have to get that grilled cheese panini and potato salad that Camerman had! We were also surprised when we went that they serve breakfast and lunch, too. Cute decor and great wait staff make this a winner in our book!

That is the cutest little colony patio villa that I've seen. I really like it's decor. That rarely happens. I didn't know that Scooples had more than just ice cream! We haven't gone down to Brownwood since our lifestyle visit. We'll have to check it out.

HOTW thoughts: Great location! It’s always such a treat to see a house with gas cooking, and a PV with indoor laundry. We’ve stayed in a few colony patio villas when we’ve visited, and they’ve often had laundry in the garage, which made me fearful of snakes slithering out from underneath the machines. Is it ever an issue with financing, selling a house fully furnished? We can’t typically do that up here because it messes with the financing if you include anything other than the house itself. I guess most people pay cash when they move down there, but we would be buying before we sell our primary residence, so we would need to finance. We would probably buy something like this to start, (rent it out during the winter, and stay in it ourselves when we can get away) and then sell it once we we're ready to move full-time and get something larger (a Lantana!) with a pool.

Any furniture, golf carts or any other things are separated in an addendum. If you agree a price turnkey, the price is for the house and the turnkey part is free.

House Of The Week is lovely. Location is A+. First I guessed $310K, then I bumped my guess up to $325K. I also did not know Scooples served sandwiches & hot dogs. Can't believe Barnstorm Theater is allowed to stay empty...could apartments be coming there???

Sad that the Barnstorm Theater never reopened. One of the things we initially loved about TV, was three theaters meant multiple screens and lots of choices for big ticket films and independents as well. We saw "Three Billboards" and "The Shape of Water" at Barnstorm, and a few others at The Rialto. Both closed now.

The Rialto won’t be opening because they are already moving the Gym in there. Hopefully the barnstorm will open sometime because of all the new areas down south have nothing so a cinema in Brownwood would actually be an attraction.

Thanks for your videos! Question - Is there fiber internet available in TV? I'll be looking in about 2 years and will be looking in the SS and LSL areas. Also, I heard the electricity is run underground but I do see the towers in parts. I'm wondering about power outages. Thanks :)

Hi. Fiber internet is available. In the area that you are looking at the electricity is underground. There are a couple of areas with towers, I’m not sure if that is villages related or just passing through. What I can tell you is that during Hurricane Irma there were no power outages. In the newer areas in the south of the villages a lot of the electricity is above ground and there does seem to be a lot of cables and towers on view. Although you are 2 years out, if you have any questions or you need advice on anything Villages related, I will be happy to help.
