Great Podcast! My best way to dispatch skunk without spraying is drop a live trap in the pond for at least 20 minutes. Another is slid the trap in a large garbage bag and a 3”x8’ sewer pipe with a 3” fernco fits a truck muffler and co dispatches is a few minutes. Lastly a skunk in a trap an Arkansas trapper said his best is injecting a skunk in the chest with a dose of acetone. Almost instant death and they don’t spray. A skunk can spray 30’ when shot with a shotgun on a frozen lake.

I started running a single Duke dogproof right off to the side of where I feed deer. I caught 5 coons and one opossum the first week. I had a trail cam there and it had no noticeable affect on the deer. I have also caught neusance beavers and musk rats with Duke 330s and Duke foot traps. I never trapped before about 1 year ago. There are plenty of videos to help you get started. I just received 6 more Duke dogproof traps and will be running those very soon. I love Duke traps. I believe all hunters should trap and eliminate as many nest robbers as they can. I haven't watched this whole video yet and don't know if they are mentioned, but crows are another nest robber I personally pursue.

Good show! I've been using Duke conibears for 7 years now for nuisance trapping woodchucks, possums and skunks. Got 5 last year along with 5 possums and 3 skunks on my 1/4 acre property.. I use 160s. Been trapping since 2015.
