Have you heard the story of Ohh Merenba.. A young boy from a small village in a loving and lively home of 4. With Very hardworking parents and children who never complained of whatever that is served on their plates. Now a hole on the roof brings beautiful beams of sunshine ☀️ in their tiny house but the strong winds were never so kind. The young boy would go sleepless nights worriying for the tired parents and a scared little sister. So as a boy has to become a man, Makes decisions only he knows. He gives up his career ,his dreams to work on the fields so that the scared little sister is scared no more, her dreams would have no holes on their roof. That night the young boy decided to fight the storm. ✌🏻😋

Applauding their achievements but Idk what they're talking about by generalising all men into one group they might have experienced 😂 I need my men and women in my life. My father, brother, uncle etc. I need all uncles and their families native to our State who helped me when i first ventured out in the cities. They're still living there and helping others students. (God bless them) I need my men at home who sacrifices good opportunities outside the state & Abroad to help the family here. Men and women co-exist together. Every boy and girl needs to know this While yeah women are less privileged in certain aspects but saying things like Naga men can't do this, live in cities like us because they can't take discrimination etc is plain BS.

It's not just Naga men but they are generalising all men based on the experienced they might have at home. While i agree that women are less privileged in certain aspects. But calling every men out as Kings who cannot adjust to the discrimination out of their native place is so wrong. When i go outside my house i see Non tribal men. When i go and live in the city i see Tribal men making a living. They're talking as if like they are the only people living outside. 🐸 in a pond mentality is getting exhibited here where they sre out of touch of reality. Didn't expected that from Merenla. Maybe she said that by mistake still other than everything else that was really stoopid response from her side

Are Naga girls running from reality? We become so educated that we forget what's inside the box rather we become obsessed with what is outside of the box. Accept it not but politicians shape the world in that case, women should join politics and therefore we may see brighter ahead rather than blaming those uneducated politicians. During head hunting, Women's and Children's heads were more precious, and more weight was given it is because both were protected and guarded by the men folks, and whoever broke the fence and entered the village and brought back the heads of women and children were considered fierce warriors. It was like a gem for the raider and hunter to get that heads. Naga women have been liberal and independent since immemorial and to this day male folks give respect and protection. For instance, Naga society, especially the Sumi community has been paying a bride price rather than a dowry to the bride's parents. Naga women were never deprived of anything although there might be flaws in some way or another but this doesn't mean that only the men were raised like a king. Sad to see that nowadays Naga women who themselves call independent started to talk s**t about men. These days many Nagas are marrying off to Indians/foreigners and I appreciate the privileges that we are getting to exchange each other cultures whereas only a few Nagas marry with Indians/foreigners. Why? Maybe because of stereotyping the races by the Indian women? Or is there any valid reason to prove it why Indian women are not willing to settle with Naga guys?

Women in UP Bihar Delhi and Mumbai can scream at men and hit him with slippers and fight with him in traffic.Naga men would either commit suicide or get his whole relatives to fight with that ladies family if anything happens like that. There are serious problems with northeastern men which needs to be addressed and initiated by concern states by awareness in schools and homes. There are good men too but men are always sitting to assassinate a women's character.Only women knows how it feels so men can justify what's happening.Naga men are married to outside women too but that is again ignored😂.😂😂😂😂

They should be grateful for being so free and doing what they want. But at the same time, they also shouldn't generalise all men or all Naga men into one group . Most tribal familes love to stay close with their families. While braver strong willed girls like them with different or stronger mentality seek job that offers more money and opportunities. Even guys are getting the same opportunities. While Naga familes will not pressure girls that much to get married by 25 or 30 and girls have the permission and Liberty to go out. It's not the same for most boys. Because it's expected of boys to stay home close to familes and take care of their families. While they're out there who knows maybe their brothers and sister in laws are the ones giving their old parents company'.

What she said was typical Nagas in the 60s. I don't disagree with what she said but I also don't completely agree with what she said. GenZ or the millennials born Nagas are an upgraded version. Every society evolves with each passing year and the origin of every society originates from its root. Strong and independent women should be able to fit in every given society or situation.
