Thanks!! Took a lot of trial and error to set up the printer right and also a lot of tweaking to improve the tolerances in the CAD files

Wow, you added the horn! It even rotates a little out of phase. I am interested in how you will control the motors. You could set independent speeds and direction with another controller.

Yes, it was really a challenge but I think I managed to get it working great. For simplicity the motor will be controlled with the same board as the main unit but wired with reverse polarity so it spins in the opposite direction and also slightly faster thanks to a slightly lower reduction ratio of the pulleys, just like in a classic Leslie unit

Hey IT, just found this. Good that you knew only one horn was functional, there are two more things with those horns, the first is they are far more tapered than yours are, this is for the high frequency sound resonance, I think if you change your design along a scaled down original you will see a difference in the sound. 2 the originals had a baffle the end, everyone cut them off, including me, because we would mic the Leslie and it was less muddy to the mic, however, in the home or a small intimate club, the deflectors gave more "color" to the sound. anyway really nice project, congrats. Thanks a lot for your suggestions! In a later design revision I tried with a smaller and more tapered inner diameter but I can't go much lower than this because the throat of the driver is also comparatively big. The reality is that the horns allways will be too small for that driver (which is one of the smallest I could find) due to the minuscle size of this unit compared with a classic Leslie. In practice this isn't much of an issue and the horn serves its fuction pretty well, which I'll show in a future video. And still need to try the baffles you mentioned, I need to figure out a way to print them and integrate them into the design to test if they are worth or not.
