This is my favorite apartment of the ones I've seen so far -- it seems that the designer of the space has actually lived in an apartment, and knows what's needed.

One of the best micro apartment I had seen so far in this channel rent price is reasonable considering the place is almost fully furnished and located in the heart of Tokyo.

This is the best apartment you have showed us so far. No loft bed or ladder. A really bathroom with a vanity. You can shave your face and brush your teeth there. A proper kitchenette and lots of storage space. Much more than in your current place. Maybe the style of the furniture gives you the feeling that something is missing. It is not matching. Each item looks different. In your apartment everything matches that is why it looks very tidy and calming

Wow, this is ready for moving in! This is what I needed when I moved to my first apartment. I didn't have anything except my clothes. For the first couple months I slept on the floor. I didn't even have a chair. But this already has everything. The price is really good for what this apartment offers and the convenient location. I think the apartments are getting better and better.

I like the simple layout of this apartment - it's not fancy but it is functional. I also like how it has all the appliances I would want. I think adding a loft bed would be great for opening up the long narrow space

I know Usui-san likes this one because it has the most important feature: the toilet paper storage XD The room is kinda built like a long corridor, but I think it works. I do wish the kitchenette had more counter space where the unit occupant can prepare meals, though.

This apartment is like someone took my first dorm and added the kitchenette of my first apartment. So I can say from experience that this is a very comfortable and livable layout. The trick for the kitchenette is to get a tray to put over the sink to use as a temporary countertop for food prep. (I also had a tray for the sink in my bathroom. My old place had no countertops 😆)

It seems really comfy, though I would use multifunctional furniture to gain "extra" space. For example, a folding bed or a sofa bed would suit the space better. Also, I'd put the desk under the window and make it foldable, so I can use that little space to fit in maybe a folding dinner table for two people. I'm not very fond of the washing machine next to the toilet but it is what it is. The price, I believe, is really great, given it's so close to Skytree. Thanks for sharing Usui! 😄

I'm going to mention this everytime you post a video from now on 😂 Edit: More pros from what I watched throughout your apartment hunting journey: -Has bathroom storage for you to put all the toilet paper and other products you need. -You don't have to climb a ladder so you can sleep - No toilet the moment you enter the apartment - Shower room and toilet is built in one room and has no glass walls. The world can't see you while you do your business 😂

This room is nice. It feels like a dormitory room, but it is the most convenient as all the necessary furniture and appliances are already provided. Probably the only thing the renter may need to buy is a small foldable table to prepare food. The toilet paper storage is large enough to store detergents, washing powders, etc. Nice view outside the windows too, compared to the other micro apartments.

This is by far the best, most sensible furnished and most practical apartment you've shown so far!

This is one of the better ones ive seen! I'd take the cost of getting rid some of those furnitures to start from scratch if the agency let me. Id start with turning the bed under the window. Use a Kallax shelf unit or two (just diy the length needed)I'd use two Kallax shelves, one towards the wall and one towards the front, add inn slats for the matress to go on top if needed. That way i will have storage the width of the bed with the shelfs in the Kallax. I can use Bullig box drawers(my personal favorit) in the shelves to make it tidy. and store say wintercloths or other items i dont use that often in the back, out of sight Move the closet to the wall where the headboard of the bed is now and add a desk long enough to go between the kitchen cooktop and the bed. as legs on either side id probably use another shelf where the legs would go (turned in towards where the legs go) for more storage Id also switch the drawer in the hallway and have a fullsized fridge there and either a short cupboard or shelf to have the micro on top or in a shelf unit where the fridge is now. This way it will feel more open and. Or if not allowed to throw away stuff. or the bed cant be under the window if too long. I still would build the bed up to get more storage underneath and just dissasemble the frame and have it tucked away under where it is now. Still would swap the fridge and drawer unit.

I honestly like this one. Fits 1 person perfectly, 2 with a squeeze (like if one is dating and planning to relocate, or mom gave a birth to a child and plans to move in a couple of months).

The best one so far. If you're looking to move and this is within your budget, you should take it. It has all the essentials already and is easily accessible.

I liked this apartment a lot! Even with its small size there is actually a lot of storage and appliances that are very useful for everyday life. The only thing I would change is the stool under the table: if you need to work from home it'd be uncomfortable, so I'd prefer to have a chair. But having a chair would take more space, so if you don't need to use the table much, it works just as it is now :)

I think this is one of the most functional apartments I saw from your video. The space usage is also well thought out. It's definitely worth considering unless you don't need a fully furnished apartment. 😅

This is a place I would love to live in. The floor plan is very precise and logical, there's lots of storage space, and it's also fully furnished and ready to move in. The pattern on the wall is very calming.

Usui...first time I use your name. But THIS IS THE ONE ! Move in ready...and space is worth it...yes layout like efficient hotel room....but still feels homey...price is higher but you in desired location. Many amenities ! I would take this tiny home NOW!

This video has a cozy feel. Subscribed because I love tiny places, and lego spiderman is a cute idea. The rent is super cheap by California standards, and if someone built a bunch of these studios, it would help with the housing crunch here. With California minimum wage, a person would only need to work about 40 hours a month to afford this.

I'll just rearrange the furniture a bit... turn the desk to face the window, it just may fit. Move the wardrobe down and move the shoe cabinet between it and the kitchen. Shoes can be stored under the bed. The cabinet can become a pantry or storage for pots/pans.This would give more counter space and more room at the entry to turn around in. Tuck the vacuum into the shower.

I think this is the winner. It has everything and a sort of real kitchen. Very simple and straightforward layout. Move in would be very simple. since it already hsd everything. Seems like a convenient location as well.

This was the first video I saw of yours a few weeks ago. I was fascinated by this micro apartment hunting and decided to watch your other videos and now I’m going to catch up on your newer videos! Thanks for a glimpse into these micro spaces 🙂

It’s a bit too “full” for me, but I really like it! It’s bright and well laid out, (even seems like a great location![I am not familiar with Tokyo or even Japan]), and it’s the opposite of the insulting toilet-entry apartment; clearly this landlord has thought of everything! They even have a vacuum and iron and ironing board and kettle and hair dryer as well as a combination washer/dryer! Luxury! If it were me living there, I would wish (I know that it’s furnished and I couldn’t) that I could use a smaller (equally nice) bed, smaller desk, better desk chair, and get rid of either the dresser or wardrobe, but I love having a “full kitchen” and I think they did a great job with the apartment! To my fellow commenters, I don’t know if Usui-san is actually looking to move or just making lovely videos, but if he is looking, I would guess that since he doesn’t cook much and his storage comprises a small dual-season capsule wardrobe and a briefcase, that he would prefer less storage-furniture, less kitchen, and either more usable space because of that, or the ability to do his own furniture? (possibly a loft bed and his current desk and chair? instead of all the “clutter” since he doesn’t need that much storage?)

The fact that everything is included (bed, fridge, storage, iron, vacuum, etc.) makes it a steal for sure!

I love this places set up. I love the sink and medicine cabinet! The appliances that come with it are a bonus. Honestly, I'd rather prefer a blank canvas to work with. It's nice to have a furnished place if you need it, but it's harder to make it your own. I'd always feel like I'm in someone else's apartment. I'll take the over all set up, but would want to furnish it myself. 🥳 🎉 I get excited about toilet paper storage as you do, LOL 😆 The only thing I dislike is the old, thick, textured wallpaper. It feels like I'm living in a funeral home, and if I were to describe if it were a taste, it'd be stale morning breath. 🤮 I'd try and switch that tall closet with the dresser. The height of it is obtrusive and messes up the flow of the room. ¥81 doesn't seem too bad.

Es el mejor que he visto, parece habitación de hotel, tiene todo lo necesario y esta perfectamente arreglado, luz natural, televisión y lo mas importante tiene donde poner elnpapel de baño y no tienes que subir ninguna escalera para dormir. Me encanto se que la renta es mas alta que los demas pero creo que lo vale.

I think this is the best micro apartment I have seen so far. The space is quite regular, good layout of toilet and bath as well as the kitchen and there is a bed and desk already! So you just bring in beddings, clothes and toiletries. very livable! As for the cost of rent, if it is in my country, that is quite pricey.

This is the best you’ve been to see yet. Extra surface areas above chest of drawers and wardrobe allow more storage etc. towels could store in the bathroom there is a lot extra storage there so more soon for clothes in the wardrobe. I really like this one.

After watching a lot of your videos, this is the best apartment I've seen so far. The bed is nicely separated from the rest of the space, you have a desk right by the window, the flow being a straight line is very convenient and keeps things from feeling cluttered or claustrophobic. If I could sell all my stuff and live as a minimalist, I could see myself living in this space.

Spiderman loves his new job! :) I like this apartment - they have packed a lot into a small space and it reminds me of a Western hotel room (apart from the cooker obviously). The price is good for what you get. The only negative is that it feels a bit claustrophobic.

Same design as I was in my 3rd year at Akita Uni for ¥40000 year 2001. But I like that spacious bathroom + laundry. That wooden closet doesn't seem bad either - it 'soften' the look of cramp space - even though I personally prefer all-white furnitures ; ))

I like this one. It's small, but practical, and comes furnished with everything you need. Price is good too for a central location. This is about the same size and layout as my university dorm, which I lived in for two years (and my dorm didn't come with a kitchenette or washing machine) so it's definitely a liveable space.

I like this one, just needs a better desk chair. The cost is even less than I thought it would be. Real nice.

I think, that is the best micro apartment so far. Perfect size, perfect arrangement of the furniture, bed and desk already there, and the toilet got real walls around. I could live in that apartment. Very nice. Business-spidy looks very professional.

Out of all the apartments you have shown so far - this is probably my second favorite. I would absolutely move into here. Yes it looks and feels like a hotel, but with some decorations and personal belongings - this could make for a nice home.

Small (of course) but a lot of piece of furniture, so a lot of storage... very comfy, with a lot of electric accessories, as for me the best flat I saw since I'm watching your videos... And for French people, yes, I agree, Japanese toilets are very high-tech (too much for me...😁😉)

I think this is the best one you have viewed by now in terms of the layout and the furnishings. It looks like a service-apartment and that you can just move in with your luggage !

Only thing I would want from this kind of apartment, would be having the table in front of the window and maybe being from wall to wall, giving more table space. So that I could get good use of natural light while doing my make up or working on something that needs good lighting. The wall mirror could be full mirror too. I would not need the tv much so there could be something else in it's place. My PC and tablet would be enough. I also see there is small space next to kitchenette. That could have shelf for dry food stuff, and cooking utensils and what not. It's a space you could live and be comfy enough.

This apartment comes with everything needed, very practical. I would shift the table to face the window so I can look out the window while doing work. And plenty of storage. I think you can do yoga on the floor with the current arrangements! Downside - cannot bring the drum washing machine over to this house.

This one is really nice for the move in ability. Has all the basic furniture one needs. Only thing is upgrading the stool to a more comfortable chair.
