Called form fitting, and it not even that small. It's just not baggy. But then these other guys wear pants literally to small. Too tight, bunches up in groin and flooding, looks stupid, and you'll never say anything. Cause you want guys to look like dorks.

Earl is originally from my area. He's much older than me but still yet he's originally from North Carolina. I know this one guy that got hustled buy stricklin because Earl had a little bit of a disguise on. This was in Thomasville North Carolina which is around the center of the state. Zero comes in pretty decent size pool joint with maybe 30 - 40 tables give or take. He just completely altered his look because he wanted to hustle people and we're talkin when he was apparently at his prime back in the early to mid 90s so you know he had to seriously disguise himself.

Selected random thoughts i had while watching: 25:07 (15 seconds) Yes, the 2 did go in. You can't tell that by looking, though, because of the bad camera work that is apparently mandated by law for all billiard matches. 41:38 (3 seconds) Hallelujah! Tell 'em louder, Earl. They didn't hear you. 1:05:22 (11 seconds) 1:15:37 (20 seconds) More than most, Earl, you've already shown on the table that you know what you're talking about damned well. You have nothing to prove to ANYONE. So, forget about other commentators. They never missed a single shot from the booth. 1:18:57 (45 seconds) Personally, i don't think that EVERY shot has to be foretold. I think you should lighten up on yourself a bit, Earl. I actually like the occasional tangential statement, like these: 55:34 (26 seconds) and 1:16:48 (27 seconds).

Earl is right about us weekend players. Years ago in Elizabeth NJ, I played a pro as a weekend player. It was Billie Billings and she beat me 75 to 3 in straight pool. Don't ever think these pros aren't as good as they look!

15:54 Earl says he has to kill the ball with a lot of right, and then after the shot he still says he used a little right. What’s the point of using spin when you already have ball in hand? Also, doesn’t right spin liven the cue ball instead of killing it?
@GBC_Rat
@GBC_Rat 3 жыл бұрын
logic368 yes doesnt make sense indeed, because he put running side on it., but I think Earl might have been meaning to say that shooting slowly with alot side is better than hitting it hard to get to the same position. I do that as well because it gives me more control
@jimchawki536
@jimchawki536 3 жыл бұрын
You can hit the ball thicker using right spinn and therefore it kills the speed.

different views on this...Earl is the kind used to put spin on all balls to throw it...europeans tend to use less spin unless necessary. it also comes down to conditions

One of the best 9 ball players ever. But you know pool is a lot like golf or tennis because it's mental. Last I heard he was living in New York and giving lessons. Also still hustling. You guys should go check out Joe Rogan interview Strickland in a pool room. I guess would be one of the better play by play guys if you wanted to do that 4 the big events on TV. I guess they figure he's a potential casualty which just might be right LOL. Can you imagine Earl just losing it in the middle of a play-by-play LOL SMH man that would be a trip. You know he would probably just lose it once if someone in the crowd booed him for whatever reason. In this Joe Rogan interview, that I mentioned , he seems to be a little more laid-back and I think he's probably taking some medication these days. It was pretty obvious that he was bipolar and I think he even speaks on that in this Joe Rogan interview but hey guess what is a decent interview and it's about a year ago
