I found Aruna Irani really a great person who experiences life so easily, routinely. Candid, full of life, natural with right words and expressions. My love and regards to this lady. 💕 Even at 76, her voice, expressions are quite like that of a good actor. And above all, she is so practical in her personal life and having respect for the sensitivity of others too.

What an awesome episode??!! There can't be any person like Arunaji. I, as a child, always imitated her dance moves and loves her acting skills in any and all roles. Today I saw her zeal for life, her child like expressions, her going down the memory lane moments, her struggles (was actually crying listening to her) her unbounded love for her family...she is so beautiful inward and more than beautiful outward...At 77, she is so graceful and beautiful (not finding any other word here). Thank you Smitaji. This is the BEST episode I have seen till date.

I have never seen an interview as great as this one with a film actress. Even the great emotional actor Dileep Kumar would not give such a truly emotional and expressive interview, though nobody could beat him as an articulate and versatile speaker. What a straightforward , honest and down to earth approach by Aruna Ji. Obviously, she must be as straight in her private life. A woman with great heart, highly elevated consciousness and that is why Universal Intelligence allotted her a role of looking after 7 sisters and a brother. You are given a burden in life only to an extent you are able to shoulder. She shouldered her part of the job and did it to the complete satisfaction and expectation of the universal consciousness. How nicely she expressed the whole life drama is unique and only few can do it. She is so tansparent, clear and honest. What others will take ages to open up to others, she does it in moments, with great sentiment and control as well. I could see that everything Aruna was saying was sinking into Smita Ji who was feeling perplexed at the integrity and straightforwardness of a woman that too from the Glamour World. When she said that I could have not been the present Aruna Irani, if I had not my sisters and brother whom I bought up with love and responsibility. This is a great lesson for life, provided we have the necessary consciousness to understand it. My hats off to Aruna Ji. What a great lady, God bless her. Smita Ji conducted the interview nicely and was composed all along.

Everyone says how graceful, strong and epic she is, but imagine in those days, for those decades from age 15 to 55, how much she tolerated each and everyday, the dogmas, stigmas, objectification, lies about her, betrayal and negative name calling?!? But her focus on work, tenacity, ability to strive and humility was her on her plate. She kept her independence and focused so tight on her plate and not other's plate, kept a tight grip on work how ever big or small roles she got with gratitude. But those 4 decades of her life must have been so tough. Now she is relaxed with that same sparkle in her eyes and bright smile. If anyone saw into her soul, I think they will see serious battle scars! 🤔

Thank you Smita Prakash for this interview. I have always wondered why strikingly beautiful and talented Aruna Irani was mostly given negative roles or secondary ones. She is present in lot of Hrishikesh Mukherjee's movies. Very very attractive in Qurbani. Extremely beautiful in Mili. The last movie of hers I watched in a cinema hall was a thriller. Aruna Irani paired with Danny Denzongpa .

Bollywood Actresses and Actors before the 80's were very humble and lovable. That's why even today they are loved . Arunaji is a very bubbly personality and doesn't carry any illwill towards anybody. I went to my flash back from 10 std took tution & then started teaching in school in lockdown lost job but at age of 58 not got back,but i also didn't stop guiding students,doing counseling some time I feel i should go to some village help kids there.After see her got inspired we should keep on working.
