Yes! I had a UTI after coming back from the DR and my doctor gave me antibiotics but told me to watch out for signs of a kidney infection!

Love that you guys speak about the birthcontrol. Heavy bleeding, fibroids and cysts can be managed by balancing your hormones. You can do that with supplements and diet. Please look into it weezy especially when you have the funds it’s definitely manageable! I balanced my hormones got pregnant ( planned ) and I used app before that to prevent pregnancy. Worked for me for years with different partners. It also helps with endometriosis symptoms. Also trauma healing on a deeper level has a huge impact. All better then those BC side affects 🙏🏾💚

Sameee, Weezy. I have ptsd from romantic relationships & friends/family relationships. It’s hard to be vulnerable sometimes. But I constantly talk myself through those emotions when I’m feeling it. It’s not as bad as it used to be.

That’s crazy ab Wezzy’s experience with birth control. It’s nuts how hormones work. I have Pre Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder and got on birth control to stop the suicidal thoughts. Birth control has changed my life in the best ways

Mandi you are NOT the only one 😭 September 2020 I was coming off of a UTI and went to Nola for my friends bday. We went to bottomless mimosas the last day and I had to go to the bathroom every 20 minutes so I’m obviously thinking it’s the mimosas right? When I got back home, that first night the chillllls and the back pain I was feeling were insaneee. I was literally crying like it could be my last night on earth 😭 I did not sleep and went to urgent care first thing in the morning. turns out I didn’t finish my medication the way I should have and the UTI never fully resolved AND to top it all off, I got COVID (I was the only one in the group to get it too probably because my immune system was f***ed from the infection). Recovering in my mother’s basement waking up every six hours to take my antibiotics and NyQuil is a core pandemic memory I will never forget

That me in 2016 living alone woke up to a soaking wet shirt because my body was fighting the infection. Got dressed and walked the two blocks to the hospital to find out I had a kidney infection from my first-ever UTI at 27. I did lose 10 pounds in two weeks from the damn Cipro because I could not eat.

I’m the saaaaaame way weezy! I can’t stand getting my blood drawn. Now I never fainted, but everything you described I’m right there with you. It’s been a problem since a child and idk why So for me, there is two things that work. Since this has been normal since a kid, I remind myself I a GROWN (we might be the same age) and I shit talk myself like I can’t be in here like the kids do. SECOND, I convince myself that I’ve literally never heard of anyone dying from getting their blood drawn. I usually calm down from there because I’m like okay if there’s a guarantee I won’t die, I can do this. Also, it never fails but NEVER LOOK. You will be setting yourself up for failure lol

Last thing, keep in mind that the ER sets up the IV in the worse way possible. They gave my poor niece a bruise. When we went to the ICU they explained the ER is usually in a hurry and normally more sloppy with stuff like that

WEEZY WEEZY WEEZY WEEZY WEEZY… I am what is consider a hard stick… this is how I got over my fear of needles. I hard to force myself to watch the them do the process over and over. I only use butterfly needles and I ask the nurse to give me a 1 2 3. Then I always remember where they actually did the IV and always try to get it in the same spot. Now I know the hands maybe scary but they never let me down. I use to be you.

We thought my sister had Covid and when I took her to the ER she had a kidney infection that was severe..she was getting septic. Thankfully they figured it out but UTIs are NO joke!

I got allergy testing done when I was younger and it made me blackout. Ever since I've been the same way with needles and a nurse told me the same thing, "how do you expect to have kids if a flu shot takes you out?!? Trust me when I tell you...Once you become responsible for another life...the needles don't bother you anymore.

lmaoo ayeee when I got my 1st UTI I thought my appendix or gallbladder was about to get taken out! that side pain was helllllll ! & then yup I got a yeast infection after the damn UTI I was so depressed bc its like wtf this is too damn much. Also real natural cherry juice helps with utilizing so I drank that it helped.

Mandyyyy - UTI - you need to start using cranberry & d-mannose. Read up about D-Mannose ! And to catch a UTI early if you do get it, without having to take antibiotics, use some oregano oil capsules (menstrual health educator here)
