We saw Casino Royale in concert years ago, it was an incredible experience. Sadly not seen another one locally since.

Wow, what a wonderful experience that must have been! And how wonderful to have been able to share it with your Mom and your friends. I've only been to two such performances - both were on a much smaller scale. Both were live orchestra accompaniments to classic horror films, "Nosferatu" and "Suspiria" at The Oriental, a wonderful old movie palace here in Milwaukee. The latter score was performed by the original artists who scored "Suspiria" back in 1977. I think I mentioned to you that my oboe teacher played with the San Francisco Symphony - I looked her up on the roster and was saddened to see that she'd passed away a few years ago. I'll have to watch for any Bond score performances by the Milwaukee Symphony - they've done a couple of the Harry Potter and Indiana Jones movies. Great podcast, Chris!
