"I hate being lied to," says James "Lightning" Wilks, when asked why he was compelled to make The Game Changers documentary.
Together, with a team of best-in-class experts and elite athletes, Wilks set out to answer the question, "What does the evidence and the science show in the search for truth in nutrition, especially as it relates to athletic performance and recovery?" The result, after seven years of research and filming? The Game Changers documentary.
Rip and James caught up with each other at a private screening of the film at Monmouth University hosted by Jon and Tracey Stewart for 700 healthcare providers. In this backstage conversation, they discuss the worldwide impact this film is having so quickly after its release. In fact, it has already become the #1 selling documentary on iTunes and a popular selection on Netflix.
Rip and James dive right into some of the results and the longstanding myths this film busts, including:
-Virility in Men
-Iron and Soy Consumption
-The Amount and Type of Protein our Bodies Actually Need
The Game Changers is definitely one of the most influential and informational documentaries about the power of a plant-based diet and how it's never too late to make a shift in your own approach after you, like James and Rip, learn the truth about nutrition.

I went vegan cold-turkey about three months ago, right after seeing the documentary on Netflix. Although I'm only 30 years old, my physical and mental health were in the gutter, and I feel this change has been transformative and given me a new lease of life. Thanks!

Same here Pedro. I'm 58 and it's only been three months going whole food plant based with my wife (who was already vegetarian). We both just recently got our cholesterol checked and both of us are better then we've ever been. I've lost 10lbs, and my wife has lost 20lbs. We are both excited to be on this new adventure. Cheers!

Great interview/discussion between two of my hero's. Watched the China study three years ago on a Friday night. Done with animal food on the spot. Turn cancer on and off? All I needed to see. Colin Campbell and Papa E have turned me into a bike riding plant gobbling maniac. Never looked back. Painful to watch my friends and family continue to handicap their lives. I'm 61 years old and now can suddenly ride 60 miles before lunch then work the rest of the day. Followed by no recovery time. Life is a riot! Great film! You fellas rock. Thank you both for your tireless work pushing this gigantic rock uphill.

I switched to a plant based diet after watching Game Changers in November. Since that time, I've gone completely vegan and the results are shocking. I've gained 6lbs of muscle, dropped my BF% from 15.2 to 12.2, and my cardio conditioning is insanely better. I'm now a PB disciple and spreading the word to everyone that I can. I've even convinced my home to go milk free, which is an accomplishment in and of itself.

I love documentaries of almost any kind, but particularly I love health and diet documentaries. Over this past weekend with being in bed sick I watched SuperSize Me 2; Holy Chicken and The Game Changers. I watched Super Size Me 2; Holy Chicken and was disgusted to learn that even though I was buying free range organic chicken and grass fed beef the food industry standards were extremely lax for the qualifications for those labels. This meant even though I spent more money I was not certain to actually get better quality. Then I watched The Game Changers and was super impressed by the film and very inspired to go Vegan. Thank you two gentlemen for you work on this subject.

All the hate is going on over the film is simply people being uncomfortable knowing the truth and just want to justify their lifestyle instead of changing it. Fortunately, many of them intelligent enough to recognise the importance of their part. I hope 50 years from now, we going to be horrified about how we lived our life.

Hi Rip, I appreciate everything you are doing....thank you! I do have one concern, and maybe if you can't answer someone that follows you can. I recently stopped my daily multivitamin because I was getting more than what I needed from the foods I was eating. I also started using an app online (Cronometer) to track all my nutrients. My concern is that I can't seem to get enough vitamin E each day. I used to eat almonds, but have cut out all nuts to keep my fats as low as I can, in hopes of reversing the 60 plus years of damage I have caused to my body but can't find any PBWF, besides nuts, to get me to the RDA of vitamin E each day. Can anyone tell me what they are doing? I don't think it is wise to take vitamin E supplements. Thanks!

Both James and Rip should be aware of is that people will not change permanently until their is a paradigm shift and that shift will happen from within Quantum Code consciousness within otherwise to change from atoms or matter can be an uphill task and many people and scientists will go out of their way to defend what is blatantly wrong just like in the Matrix film…
